What's going on there, does their new owner have much money or is he just taking a massive gamble?

Signed some players, ones who will be on very good wages and rumoured to be in for this Dimitrios Pelkas.

They were stripped bare when they were relegated. Their last published accounts show a total wage bill of just £8.4m in League One (ours was £27.8m that same year) so there was a lot of room to grow before they become unsustainable in this division even without owner funding. They're probably a £15m turnover club similar to us.

Does sound like he's got a bit of cash. And selling Lewis-Potter for £17m helps.

A club can do that when they're starting from scratch. Last season they brought in loans and a few frees. They've shipped out Honeyman, Smallwood, Eaves and Moncur from that team, and sold their top scorer.

Looking at their squad I don't know how they stayed up last season, honestly. They're having to build a brand new one.

There seems to be about 4/5 of them on over 20k a week, throw in all the others and I just have this hunch that a year or 2 down the line that there might be repercussion.... Unless they get promoted of course.
