Absolutely disgusting

Been a ref for over 30 years enjoyed it only ever been punched once that was a parent me personally I'd ban parents from watching games at grassroots level they have an over inflated opinion of their cherubs normally.

I'm the old fashioned type I'd rather give out a bolloxing such as don't be stupid or be a plank but these days you can't say anything like that to a kid the parents are very precious

So it's men's football these days for me but some there are getting the same so the younger robot refs just dish out cards

I was always taught as a younger ref go out with the intention of not issuing a caution or sending off use man management but that's all gone now

Exactly violence in such circumstances is appalling.
It should only be used in self defence.

It's such a shame that grown adults cannot control themselves over amateur football.
Kids football is unbelievable, the amount of parents who shout and scream (even at their own children) is a disgrace.
Feel sorry for the refs who have to deal with such abhorrent individuals.
