Rubbish, give both Blackpool & Huddersfield 6 points and while we're at it, give 6 to Wigan too

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Poor draining pitch and I don't think they have under soil heating. I also don't think that the money previous owners made from promotion to the Premier League was invested in the pitch.

Under soil heating should be a prerequisite for all championship clubs.

Would you prevent a team from being promoted to the championship if they didn't have undersoil heating?

Going down that route could potentially open up a can of worms. The premier league might think that if the EFL can do that, we will have a 30,000 capacity stadium as a criteria for promotion.

Ealing Trailfinders and Doncaster Knights have had issues with the RFU over their stadium capacity rule of 10,001. That rule has prevented relegation from the Guinness Premiership on more than one occasion.

I think the answer is yes.

What was lost yesterday ? Revenue for the club most certainly, plans of thousands of fans changed, travel etc. The football league already have stadium regulations for promoted teams, the 30k capacity thing you mention would never happen though.

Under soil heating is a necessity, it avoids players getting injured when pitches are fifty fifty as well. The championship surely can’t allow this to continue. It undermines the very basics of being able to fulfil fixtures and affects agreed contracts with TV etc.

The issue I have is the cost of putting it in may be beyond some clubs. It then becomes a bit catch 22 as they need progression to get more money in but can't progress until they've spent money they may not necessarily have.
