Swansea cannot compete with other reckless Championship teams for 22-23 year olds reaching their prime.

Stoke, Middlesborough have deeper pockets or bigger debts to their owners than Swansea. Both out of pocket £100m +. The Boro owner is loved by the fans because he has lost enough money to build a hospital in Darlington. Sadly for him he starts next season level with Swanseawith his star player back with thier Premier league clubs like Archer.

Swansea can compete at the 16-18 level taking player premier league teams are 50:50 about. Swansea have done well in this market. James, McBurney, Byers.

Get good quality in at 16 and mentor and train them to be Swansea players. Swansea city is best in class at this. Bravo to Anthony Wright and others in the system. Cullen, Cooper Congreve need to kick on next season. Congreve has the set piece Swansea need after Manning leaves.

Kristian OLeary has also been through this coaching system. Is he staying or gong with Martin. Swansea need continuity of methodology and quality club men like Wright and O'Leary who stay with the club.
