Seems to be coming true mu+h earlier . Listen to the lyrics kids. This is ,IMO ,the most doom laden ,ominous but prescient song of all time. They were a true one hit wonder but this song has been covered 60 times A song about how we take from Mother Earth and give nothing back and how we rely on overacted technology which is slowly killing us as a species.
I can remember listening to this song back when I was a youngster back in the early 80’s after buying one of those compilation LP’s in the early 80’s, always thought it was very prophetic.
