Well then, have the electorate woken up? She has been suspended by MP's and 12000 in her constituency voted for her recall which triggered a bye election.

For thse who don't know, she travelled to Westminster by train during the pandemic when she was covid positive.

What we need now is for the electorate Uk wide to wake up, take a look at their elected representative and if they aren't good enough, do the same. lets send politicians everywhere the same message, shape up or we'll ship you out.

it's a forlorn hope, I know. I'm a dreamer though.

Indeed - she’s deservedly been recalled by her constituents and will soon be out of a job. What she did was appalling, she blatantly breached the Covid rules that were in place at that time.

What’s almost as bad is that 38 MPs voted against the recommendation to suspend her from the Commons, 2 Alba Party MPs, 1 Reclaim Party, 2 DUP and 33 Conservative MPs including Jacob Rees Mogg and David Davis. I think their behaviour is outrageous.

It depends on what an MP thought about the lockdowns and covid restrictions in general. If they were consistent in opposing a lot of the measures then I wouldn't necessarily see them failing to back the removal of a colleague who failed to follow them.

A few more people in power challenging the madness of the time wouldn't have gone amiss.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Hmmm, you can disagree with a law but you still need to obey it.

What was ferrier's reason for breaking this law? After all she had tested positive and then got on a train.
People who tested positive needed to isolate and that was one of the rules surely we agreed with?

Those Mp's could oppose the madness of the time but the isolation rule surely wasn't mad?

Regardless of what they thought about the rules, the issue is that she broke the law and was then found guilty in a court of law and sentenced to 270 hours of community service. I can accept they didn’t agree with the rules, but not the fact they’ve chosen to back someone who’s broken the law.

Dominic Cummings , needed to check his eyesight was ok , so took a day trip out driving .

This Country was in lockdown , Bojo slithered away after his parties at No 10 .
Now another Politician , irrelevant of their Political views , has lied and broken the law .

Getting to the stage where I am now taking a view , why do I bother voting , all frauds .

Put me in a booth with the options are , none of the above , that is my pencilled cross .

I'm voting for the best person from now on. I shall read the CV of each candidate and whoever has the strongest record in understanding and making good complex and whole system decisions that affect large scale considerations will get my vote regardless of the party.
If there's no one suitable I will spoil my paper.
