Unless the swans go up he wouldn’t even think about it for me. And then it’s all about the money. Although I can see him finishing his career back home.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
John Hartson wanted to come back after the last of his good years and paydays were used up at WBA. He volunteered himself to the club. WBA wanted him off the books well before the end of his contract into his 30s.
Martinez rightly declined to take him back on lower wages. Jason Scotland himself ageing gave Swansea 2 season of top performances and a £2m payday. A good bit of business. Martinez seemingly did not realise he was a shot footballer as well and he never hit the heights again getting only 2-3 goals in the Premier League. This was when HJ was on the top of his game.
Joey Allen loved by the faithfull signed at least one possible two extensions at high paying Stoke. Foolishly the club let sentiment rule and he has has a very nice time looking after his chickens on £500,000 a year or so.
Big Joe wants to fil his pension pot and get the two year retirement contract back in Swansea when e is 32. Get the sentiment going and another disaster awaits. Rodon has never done a 40 games season. Hopefully he will this season. Great player. If he returns at 28 OK but not after 30. He played 27 times in the Potter season and never got close since.
It is reported Spurs want £20m for him. Swansea sold for £11m rising to £15m so hopefully some of that £4m might be on the way to the Gower.

Just hope it works out better than Joe Allen's return. Which came too late sadly

Thing is Joe Allen played for most of his last season at Stoke.
