All the more of a mystery then why Josh Thomas was sent out on loan. Some of us did make this point at the time.

I agree and mentioned it at the time. The only thing I can think of is they thought the new recruits would be better than they are and this then raises more questions.

I was criticised at the time for saying that we should not go overboard in what we expected from Vipotnik until we had seen him performing in the Championship. He was coming from a league roughly on a par with EFL 1, and I think some expected too much on the basis that he had international caps.
