Who was it that said Silverstein’s cash injection would allow us to play hardball when it came to selling Joe? Bollocks. Yanks, Winter, Sellouts - fack off.

Forest did a number on us, credit where it’s due. They clearly identified the need to give us no time on the ball, and stopped us playing. However, our players were incredibly weak at times, letting Forest players almost bully us. Connor Roberts looked terrified of his man. Others panicked and made wild passes as soon as they were pressed. The alternative seemed to be going sideways or backwards. Fulton and Grimes need to make a mark in the middle, far too soft and almost naive. Top of the league we are going to get teams stepping up in games, we need to do the same in reply. We had very little success on the flanks, yet persisted with that tactic. We need to stick the boot in and look up a bit more next Saturday to stop the wurzels doing the same job on us. |

Fans are finally waking up and realising what crooks are running the club. Same goes for those who sold out to them, they are as much to blame. Disgraceful. |

Apparently there’ll be a six figure fee due to PSV if he makes another two appearances, hence why he’s being kept as far away from the first team as possible. |
 | Forum Thread | Soft/Weak Midfield at 10:23 18 Aug 2018
The first half last night was the worst midfield performance in a long time. We need a strong bully in the middle. Tactically found out there by Monk who basically told them to presss and shove us off the ball. Easy to see. |
 | Forum Thread | Great result, however.. at 20:43 11 Aug 2018
Our lack of options was clear to see when we went 3-5-2 with Grimes LWB. We were hanging on at that point against a poor Preston team. Olsson could arguably do with another few weeks off after WC duties, off the boil, but had to play. We are down to an even more inexperienced goalkeeper. Admittedly, this could have happened anyway but possibly not down to such a 3rd choice. We need a few loans to strengthen key areas, clear to see. And that’s still clutching at straws after that window. The competition doesn’t seem to be that decent, but we will hit injuries with 2 games in a week and the board need to recognise this. |

 | Forum Thread | U23’s Hype at 09:34 2 Jun 2018
What evidence is there to back up the claims of these u23’s superstars doing a job for the first team next season? Bar McBurnie who to some extent has proved he’s got something at Championship level who else has? Looking at the others that have made senior appearances: Tyler Reid - couldn’t get in the Newport starting line up, played 7 games for them Kenji Gorré - age 23, played less than 20 senior professional games Botti Biabi - made a couple of appearances on loan at Hamilton Dan James - looked alright in the brief cameo against Notts County in a comfortble game, don’t think he did much at Shrewsbury though George Byers - age 21, one appearance for Watford Adnan Maric - age 21, one appearance for the Swans Zabret - age 22, 14 appearances for Domžale in Slovenia Ryan Blair - age 22, 14 games for Falkirk Adam King - age 22, couple of games at Hearts, Southend and Mansfield and 20 odd for Crewe 3 seasons ago Joe Rodon - 12 games for Cheltenham last season |

How can anyone paid to kick a ball for a living hit such a tame, pathetic shot inside the opposition box straight to the goalkeeper? Sums up the lack of quality options outside of the starting 11, Championship players at best. He along with a few others need to go in the summer, although there’s more chance of Huw dishing out further contract extensions. |

https://www.swanstrust.co.uk/2017/11/14/announcement-from-swans-trust/ Seem very keen to push this sale through: Discussions are continuing on the detailed aspects of the deal and whilst these have highlighted some areas of concern, the majority view of your Trust Board is that we should continue these discussions with a view to finalising the detail as soon as possible. As discussions are ongoing between our respective legal teams it is not possible to give more detail at this point. However we do feel there remains scope to agree a way forward and believe that matters will be progressed quickly, but if any of the terms of the final offer differ from the detail as previously provided for the members consultation, then we will conduct a further consultation with you, our members. |

Not up to the job and it's starting to show again. Awful last minute transfer dealings, selling out to the 'next level' and general arrogance/relying on luck. Hangers on, Dineen's and the Van Zweden cling ons can argue all they like but it's plain for all to see. |
 | Forum Thread | Shambles on and off the field at 10:15 11 Sep 2017
Saw loads get turned away at the turnstile yesterday and told to go to the ticket office to get entrance sorted. Total shambles. Heads should roll for that, not acceptable at this level (the 'next level'?). I suppose it was progress on the scanners being totally redundant at the last home game. Total lack of creativity on the field. Far too negative midfield play. Simple passes going astray. Basics. Clement moving Fer back and pushing Sanches up was a mistake. Bring back Leon. |

Pathetic defending. As captain that was appalling. Some desire would have prevented that goal. Not sure what he expected Fabianski to do. |
