Massive hypocrisy. Not a pop about the Tory donor under investigation for dodging £500 million in tax. Zahawi forgot to pay £3 million plus in taxes, but remembered to submit his expense claims for heating his horses.

The sellouts struck a deal with the yanks in December 2015 without informing the trust. The Trust were ‘introduced’ on the day the sale announcement was being released to the press. Too late at that point to ‘cut a deal’ or class as being included at the point of sale.

Levein himself stated his pathway was back to DC United under a new coach. Raised his profile a little this side of the pond, break him in over there and if he does well flog him to fund the likes of Benteke on mega bucks. He had no interested in developing him for the swans.

I wonder what the OP (who conveniently forgets the trusts role back then) would have to say about that

Fletcher was not registered to play for the first team. Do your homework. Add to that Levein had DC United in mind as a development loan. Why does he fund the likes of Benteke there yet scrapes the barrel this side of the pond.

Williams was a gamble. The owners held on for weeks to get the fans relieved at any appointment ignoring the fact he was from a well backed league 2 side.

A silly OP trying to put some sort of spin on the downfall caused by poor ownership. We’d be looking further down the leagues for cheap gamble signings that fail to pay off.

Reynolds has on numerous occasions praised their trust for keeping the club alive.

They did their due diligence and rejected offers for the clubs from the sharks before taking a vote on the Hollywood sale.

The Wrexham Trust saved the club, had a good stab at getting promotion on a couple of occasions and left it debt free for new owners.

They didn’t ’sell it for pennies’. How much would you expect to pay for a national league club? The deal was based on a promise of investment which was honoured.

Prior to selling the trust apparently rejected numerous other potential buyers. Credit to them for their due diligence. They could have as you accuse ‘given up’ way before finding suitable buyers.

‘Like’ Williams - will that be ‘Unliked’ Williams later today? Hopefully not.

Typo’s forgiven on Derby Day even before the pre-match pint.

There were less than 1,800 dwarfs left in the home end when we went 4-0 up. Bit like that Shrewsbury FA cup game at the cApiTal a few years ago.

A performance (and hopefully result) is the least the players can offer in an otherwise disappointing season. Hopefully they’ve had a real kick up the backside after last Sundays no show.

Get Curt, Trunds, Leon in the changing room before kick off to let the players know what the game means.

Williams should have had the defence defending set pieces all week if he’s done his homework. For a manager a result in this can win them the fans for a few months.

Williams musings
at 23:02 10 Mar 2024

“The test for us as a group now is can we maintain that level, and can we maintain that intensity and aggression?” said the Swans boss.

What level is he referring to? We were crap. I saw no intensity or aggression either. Williams seems to blurt stuff out without thinking at times.

Swans lose in Bristol : What an absolute waste of time that was
at 17:18 10 Mar 2024

Willliams claims that ‘we cannot wait for Cardiff’. Rushworth claimed that the squad were ‘well up for the two derbies’. If that was a team well up for it then god help us next week.

Watson needs scrutinising on his signings.

Bar Key no perm signing has improved the squad. Rushworth the only loanee that has improved a position.

What was the point in Sagoe Jr? Patino didn’t get on the pitch today.

Awful game, awful performance. We gave Bristol all the time in the world to get the ball into the box. Lethargic sideways passing. Grimes standing still at points in the second half where the defence needed an option. A total lack of desire in the run up to the derby.

The Netherlands is no doubt seen as a hot spot for cheap potentially good players.

Based on our dealings it’s a gamble:

Hits: the likes of Bodde, Piroe, Vorm

Misses: the likes of Narsingh, Tjoe A On, Tiendelli
