I'm in another reading phase, and about to order a few books online. Any recommendations? I'm mainly looking for 20th century fiction. Thanks

Let's take a trip down memory lane. The type of trip where not even a thousand rose-tinted specs could put any veneer of respectability on these, the football-hoofing excuses for professional footballers that played for SCFC.
We will stick with 4-4-2 for ease. You must have, unfortunately, seen these uncoordinated abominations play, before your incredulous eyes.
Let's be avin yer, or something. Your XI from hell.

Good point today, regardless of performance. No away game is easy in this league. We aren't going to make waves this season; the entranched negativity resulting from Clement's ultra-defensive mindset is clearly residual at best. But we got a point instead of a probable defeat earlier in the season.
Four points clear of the relegation zone. Should be the same margin as long as Arsenal do a job tomorrow on a listless Southampton.
Game in hand over all teams below us, save the one team that we play on our turf.
Last game of the season against a relegated Stoke, hopefully.
It's in our hands. Could we ask for anything more? Fantasy football will never come between now and the season's end.
So, chins up and stop facking moaning.

How are the group positions worked out if two teams finish on the same points?
Head-to-head or goal difference?
There's a distinct chance Wales and Slovakia could both finish on 3 points...

Watching the Welsh open snooker in Cardiff, and Ronnie O'Sullivan willingly turned down a 147 on the 13th red, in reaction to the meagre 10k prize money for a maximum.
From the 7th red he was in conversation with the commentary box asking for the prize total, as he nonchalantly knocked in ball after ball.
All this after a petulant few frames, and during a largely absent-minded performance. What are people's thoughts on this? Obviously most would give so much for a 147, and he has, unarguably, deprived us of a maximum.
Great TV on a Monday afternoon though!

Fate has dictated that my friend and I are playing a gig in Maesteg directly after the Swansea Cardiff game.
I have heard that Maesteg is completely Blue, sorry, I mean red. Is this true?
The proximity of the game to the start of our gig necessitates that we watch the game in Maesteg itself, which is not the most attractive proposition I have been offered.
I don't know how to approach the game, as one hint that I am a Swans fan could really turn the crowd against us when we entertain them after the match.
