“It contributed to their deaths” Then you link an article that says “carefully reviewed and based on the information provided it is not considered that the vaccine played a contributory role in these events,” |

I think Eddie Jones has blundered by picking Farrell, Vunipola, George and Itoje. None of these Saracens players have played a club game because their league hasn’t started yet so none of them are match fit or used to the intensity of international rugby. No surprise that they’re all playing poorly. |

I see that the head of the German Society for Immunology has urged them to stop playing politics and approve the AZ vaccine for over 65s asap. |

Good spot Pike and it shows the mentality of the English team. In some ways it’s a pity that the ref told him to have a word because otherwise he’d have just blown for the penalty to be taken with the same result and unquestionable egg all over English faces. That mentality showed up again for Hardy’s try when England decided to call a team sleep over after conceding yet another penalty and made the same mistake. |

He's not sponsored by Specsavers any more so he can't see what he's looking at now. |

I should have married a freezer as well. Preferably one full of steak and legs of lamb among other things. The other advantage would be when she nags you to redecorate the hall, stairs and landing you can switch her off. Come to think of it a robot wife would be absolutely brilliant. |

We would have beaten them anyway. For the Adams try if it had been disallowed we would have kicked three simple points and we had a penalty in the offing at the time of the second try so that would have been another three points from a simple kick. Much of the media claiming it was a 14 point swing but it wasn’t, it was an 8 point swing. |

He didn’t tell Farrell he had time to talk to his team. He said “Have a word with your team. Change your behaviour. Too many infringements” Refs say that all the time and more often than not the captain strolls back and days nothing to anyone. It was not an invitation to have a team meeting under the posts and call the water carriers on (which only the ref can allow). They didn’t comprehend that anything other than a kick at goal was going to happen and were caught with their pants down. They didn’t learn their lesson either because the third Welsh try was another instance where England gave a penalty away close to their own line and expected Wales to kick the three points. They completely switched off and quick thinking Hardy strolled through them. They’re angry with a number of things but they are probably angry with themselves more than anything and they’re lashing out. |

We weren't lucky with the knock on. As Guscott said it was technically not a knock on it's just that most people don't understand the intricacies of the knock on rule. |

Also big shout for Stephen Jones attack coach whose influence is starting to take hold. |

Brilliant. Pivac is now becoming his own man and we are starting to play Scarlets style rugby. It's high risk and won't always work but it'll be fun. I don't blame him for picking the old favourites for a number of games after he took over because Gatland is one hell of an act to follow. |

All teams are having difficult periods with the intensity of fixtures this season. Norwich had a poor spell of four games where they picked up 2 points. They’ve put that behind them with 4 straight wins. Brentford had three poor performances on the trot and lost all three. We have had three poor performances on the trot and have picked up 6 points in those three games which is promotion “form”. We now need to put our poor form behind us and continue to accumulate points at roughly two per game which would get us up. If we continue to play as poorly as we have in the last three games it won’t happen but if we improve, and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t, we will be looking back at our difficult period as the one that made the difference. |
