This squad is simply not talented enough to be able to give less than 100 per cent and win, well, not unless the opposition are also well off it. Fail to do the basics and/or put in any less than maximum effort and you know what's coming. Additionally, as others have said, it seems that every time we have a really good game, some fans and the senior management at the club get carried away and complacency seeps. None of this is new, though, sigh... |

So sorry to hear that you receive such vile stuff. You and your team are providing a fantastic service to QPR fans - a service which demands a great deal of effort - and you do so with balance and self-awareness. Thank you! |

Wow, we've just passed our 18th anniversary with this guy! He's been officiating our games so long that Buzsaky scored twice in his first one, astonishingly assisted by "Malcolm" for one of them. Muggeridge? Macdonald? Surely not Bob Malcolm? Must have been a miskick. Thanks as ever for the insight and the trip down memory lane. |

This is great news 👏. I love his energetic closing down high up the pitch, it forces the opposition into errors. If only all of our squad did it. I feel boosted by this! |

We made him into the great player he has become. Perhaps.... |

"Anyone with pink boots in the Championship should have them stuffed up his arse". As Christmas messages go, that's quite unconventional . |

We've had the sum total of 0 shots on target. We're lucky not to be further behind. |

The "Two doors down" Christmas special was quality, as I expected . It's available on the iPlayer. |

This! In my experience, Chanel perfume is usually well received by women, it's sophisticated and you can't buy it from a petrol station at five to midnight on Christmas Eve , but most of all, stockists usually offer to wrap it up for you and do so beautifully. |

I'm rubbish at it too, Mrs R from Afar has banned me from wrapping presents apart from mine to her, she does all the others. Many years ago, when I was young and foolish, as opposed to old and very foolish, I played a Christmas trick on my brother. I had got him a small but valuable present, but I went to town with the wrapping and box (pause for cackling) . I put his present in a grocery box, on top of a pile of dictionaries, then wrapped it all up as prettily as I could. The resulting package was huge and weighed a ton. He was very entertained trying to guess what on earth the vast and weighty item was . Luckily, he did like the actual present. |

Yes indeed, as a friend found to her cost recently. She let her top floor flat out via an agency, only for a roofer doing work for a neighbour to alert her to suspicious activity. Her tenant had surreptitiously boarded her loft and installed a load of cannabis plants! Somehow, they managed to get the kit up four flights of stairs and set up without the neighbours noticing. Her letting agent was mortified and very apologetic. |

I'm with you and Dave B, give the current setup a chance to tweak things. As Dave rightly says, the team changed their approach to batting in the third test and reined in the attack attack attack mindset, although the damage had already been done in the first two tests, unfortunately. |

I am going to make a sweeping generalisation here but something which has struck me before and which I think is relevant in the case of these chants - chants which I consider to be disrespectful and wholly unfair - is that there is a large tranche of fans of this club and indeed all clubs who, while still just as passionate as people on here, don't get involved with fanzines, fans' websites e.g. LFW and the like. They're not interested in the story behind the story and analysing how we play and/or how the club is run. I reckon to people like them, Marti looks like a charlatan. Then there will be those fans who just love to have a go at anything related to rival clubs and those who get off on being contrary and/or controversial. Or something . Just my two groats worth. |

Good points, although whilst I wouldn't drop Brook, I wouldn't say he is world class just yet. I do think England batted more sensibly in this test but the series was already very close to being lost, plus, while helpful, that change still doesn't make us truly competitive with this Australian side. Whoever we picked, I think that would still have been the case, sadly. Perhaps we are trying to be too clever, one of the pundits said that last night. A lot of the fundamentals of the game don't change. As I said above, though, I thought I saw signs of a more measured approach in this test. |
