Well that’s one team nailed on for relegation next season.

That game only magnifies how much RM messed it up this year.

Latest statement from trust thankfully completely
disproves my earlier comment and I’m 100% glad about that.
I was initially quite alarmed by the original posting from them over
Birch leaving, which I read wrongly, as them being taken
by surprise over his departure.

And it’s even more obvious from the trusts statement
Released earlier that they are totally out of the loop
in all things Swans...

ST update
at 13:56 4 Jun 2020

Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? Would you rather everyone get what £80 back and then see the club possibly go to the wall as a result? Well I for one certainly wouldn't.

Look the money was spent long ago by us season ticket holders. And before anyone spouts off, I do appreciate that some peoples circumstance may have changed due to the on-going pandemic. But in my opinion the club should just offer free links/access to the remaining games online, end of.
Im almost certain most, if not all would say watching the Swans in any form right now would be a welcome distraction.....

As for next season, well now that's another story.

Well from what I've been told he's worth a 💩 💩 load more than that.

Overheard a couple of guys talking a few weeks back stating he was interested in the club.

Somewhere between £36-38 mill is the magic number they were saying.

But that said, who knows what the real truth is. One things for sure though, you can bet we'll be the last to know.

The true reason Potter had that reputation (If indeed he ever did have) was simply because too often, he selected the WRONG starting line up .
Having to change his team / shape during the match, to save us from defeat.

Yes it was a shockingly poor/lazy decision by Jenkins.
He thought he could get away with putting who he thought at the time, was his puppet in position on the cheap and also at the same time appoint himself as dof.

Seconded.

Connor is just not kicking on like others around him.
Not sure if it's down to ability ( reached his ceiling) or attitude. Personally I think it's the latter. As every now and then, he shows glimpses of what he can do.
Either way it must be sickening for him to have seen DJ come from behind him to get a big money move to Manure while he's still playing championship football.

Of course not Darren. It was opening day of the season and goals from Ki & Siggy gave us an unexpected win and poured cold water over Van Gaal's first game in charge at OT.
As you also probably recall, we did the double over them that season. But that didnt stop the steady change that eroded the style we had all grown acustomed to.
I've stated a few times over the years since, that it became a major concern to a fair few of the group I was with. I recall the defeat to Blackburn in the cup where we had 2 sent off (Bartley/Siggy) when the start of the boos/unrest on the terraces began.
As I'm sure the majority of fans would now agree, under Monk we became just another mid -lower league team in terms of style /substance.
Which was polar opposite to what got us up and then initially kept us there.
We never recovered from the damage caused under Monk. Just sack, survive and repeat until we finally succumbed to the inevitable.
It has taken a relegation and a massive clear out for us to have the chance to reset.

Granted, but also playing utter Shiite football at the same time.
Had the misfortune to watch every game home & away and trust me when I say Monk, Pep & Beatie ruined us, plain and simple. For one records points total, Monk put this club back years.
Today watching Brum, reminded me of how we played under him, obviously though with better players.
Surely I can’t be the only one who felt it was like watching a Martinez/Rodgers/Laudrup Swans v a Monk Swans out there today
Thank Christ we’ve managed to return to our former selves is all I can say!

If we'd had Chinese owners instead of Yanks.

Watching sky sports PL now and they have documentary about Wolves trip to China to forfill owner obligations etc.
Just got me wondering what could have been like for us, if the alleged Chinese consortium that came in for us, had been successful instead of the Yanks... 🤔

Well hopefully if true, he has learned his lesson and will knuckle down and develop into a top talent for the national team to call upon.
It's such a shame to see so many of these quality youngsters, fall by the wayside simply due to getting too much too soon!
