I have a friend who is an ardent Shrewsbury supporter who was very impressed with Ogbeta. He is really rapid and can deliver a cross he is at his best going forward and could provide for our front line. He said he was not the best defensively. However, I feel after last season we need some enterprise to get bums off seats as so much of last year was turgid.

Sorry, should have made myself clear. It was on the club website and is usually put out the day after a match.

Fan gallery photograph

Could anybody help me retrieve a sentimental photo from the fan gallery. Unfortunately, it was from some time ago. I have tried search engines and sifting through old threads on the club website with no luck. It was Man City away 05/02/2016 outside the ground the photo did appear in the fan gallery on the club website. It would mean a lot.

Racist behaviour and a lack of club action
at 00:22 21 Nov 2021

Clearly you have not read my post properly. I reported two instances of clear racist abuse to the club which occurred during the Cardiff game. This behaviour was vile and unacceptable
In the Blackpool game they displayed flags and have consistently booed taking the knee. Saying taking the knee is 'political' I will not accept when they have been involved in such disgusting racist abuse. These people are racist and should not be in our club. Call it out!!

Racist behaviour and a lack of club action

I am always concerned about the opposition as I am a fan and their performance will have consequences for my club. I hope your concern extends to stopping players of the opposition and our club not being showered with vile rascist abuse whilst doing their job. In my long working life I never suffered racist abuse this was probably because I'm white.

Racist behaviour and a lack of club action
at 22:01 20 Nov 2021

The violent scenes today in the East stand are a disgrace and were instigated by a group who have in the past displayed openly racist behaviour. During the Cardiff game my daughter and I called out two of this group for shouting racist insults which were vile. Prior to this she had spoken to them about booing taking the knee to which the reply was 'It's political'
Following the game I e-mailed the club with detailed information about the racist behaviour of this group. There was also health and safety concerns regarding these people standing on seats and when we scored and falling on to supporters in front of them and injuring one guy.
I made it clear that I felt this behaviour would be repeated and some overt stewarding would be required with senior stewards present. If my suggestions had been implemented decisive intervention today when the flags were displayed would have prevented the violent scenes. I feel let down by the club and unsupported when tackling racism on the terraces. Lots of fine words before the Cardiff game have not been backed up by action to root out racists. The club must support the fans when they call out racist behaviour as well as their players. My wife tackled them today about booing taking the knee.
I exchanged a number of e-mails with people in the club and identified the problem and perpetrators. The club must now take action to stop this blatant racism and protect the health and safety of supporters. It is time they took seriously their duty of care to us and not leave it to us to police people's behaviour.

Excellent service from the Liberty Stadium

I have subsequently found out what a trooper the lady is, having received an award from the Disabled Supporters Association. Really nice to have proper caring people looking out for others.
Hope her employers know how lucky they are.

Excellent service from the Liberty Stadium

For the first time I couldn't get the livestream to work last night. Whatever I tried, a number of times on different accounts and devices, when I clicked on watch live just took me back to the previous page. I emailed the problem to the club at 7.39 hoping it might be sorted before the Bristol game. Had an email response at 7.43 which I didn't see. At 7.45 a telephone call from a Denise Ruffell to talk me through fixing the problem and stayed on the phone until I had could view the game. Had to clear all my browsing history which as I'm not very technical wouldn't have occurred to me. Thank you Denise.

Yep. 15,000 was the attendance figure given but I am sure it was significantly higher. I remember being packed in so tightly my feet were off the floor a number of times.

I was so lucky to be at the Vetch for Toshack's first game and then to witness the rise of the Swans. I couldn't believe the excitement of the names and characters that arrived to play for the club. Bob Latchford centre forward for the Swans. Wow!! Great times loved watching him, such a privilege and a real nice man.

Max gone to a BIG club.
at 11:47 18 Jan 2021

Correct, Max is innocent. It's a shame we don't support a big, big club and live in our capital city. Guess we'll have to get on with it. Off to look at the league table.

Max gone to a BIG club.
at 11:17 18 Jan 2021

Yet again I feel so inadequate. How ever much I wash and beat myself up I can't get Swansea off me or out of me. In these troubled times it is reassuring that the media in our capital reiterate the size of CCFC and confirm us as the unwashed down west. Max is a young virgin but has been fully impregnated with the 1927 vaccine. It is great he has arrived at a BIG sleeping giant. No doubt they will take as much care of him as Harry Wilson. I'm all done in, off to put my head in the oven, this will hurt, it's electric.

Good hard seasoned professionals who can also play like Smith and Fulton form the backbone of successful teams. Not the sort to be sung about from the terraces but on a cold Yorkshire night on a heavy pitch these are the boys. GET IN!!

If we manage the unthinkable...
at 12:09 23 Jul 2020

A very simple conversation will take place:
Coops: I want to talk about team investment next year please Jason.
Jase: Sign up Routs, Kyle and VDH. Use your contacts to get loan players in ( nothing too flash), don't forget Nathan he has a Prem medal you know. Oh by the way push through the Rodon sale and check on Bony. Also ask Curt to be on standby for just before Xmas.
Coops: Thanks boss great to have such a productive meeting. Cheers!!
