Yes, of course, that is a relevant point. But still, 1 goal every 4 games is better than 1 goal every 14 games. And 1 in 4 is what Kone managed last season.
The point may have already been made but whereas I like the idea of having high standards in training and attitude, I hope the standard of play in a match is included. If a player is unable to meet standards of actual play but another is, what then?

How players are selected to play DS games is mysterious. I'm sure there must be good reasons for the young and inexperienced side today but still, why were none of Esquerdinha, Dyke, Sanghrajka, Akindileni, Tarbotton or Kennedy not in the matchday squad? Even just a couple of them would have helped even up the game.

As for Varane, I assume he'll be on a 9/10 hour flight back to London later today so he'd be joining the squad tomorrow or Thursday. I can't see him starting v Wham so probably a midfield of Kamara, Madsen and Edwards.
I think we must have recalled Kamara because we're short in midfield for the game against Wham - Vale and Chair still injured, and Varane too knackered to start.

Dunne played the 90. He did well, probably the best of the 3 CBs, in an ultimately disappointing 1-1 draw. He finished the game injury free and hopefully fit to play v Wham.
