Decorating
at 16:31 25 Jun 2020

With lots of people decorating their houses over the last few months I was wondering what peoples opinion was on quality and difference between brand name paints like Dulux, Crown etc. and own brand paint like ones you can buy in say Wilkinsons, B&M etc.

Is there any difference in quality between them, is it worth paying the extra for Dulux etc.

Looking to do some decorating soon and not bought any paint for years. Don't mind paying for brand names if it makes it quicker and less messy to do, but is it really worth it.

Swans Supporter collapsed
at 15:25 1 Mar 2020

Not seen it mentioned anywhere is the guy ok who the paramedics attended to
in our crowd yesterday at Blackburn. It happened about 10 rows in front of me. I did recognise him from away days but not sure who he is.

Also hope the Blackburn supporter who collapsed in the home crowd by the single story stand is ok. He was taken away on a trolley by paramedics.

Ibiza
at 15:44 23 May 2019

Have booked flights for my wife and myself in July. Was meant to be going with two others but they changed their minds.

Have never been to Ibiza so just wanted an idea of area you would recommend for adults mid 40's.

Don't want to be in 18-30 territory but would like area where there are pubs, bars, music etc. I have looked in trip advisor and Santa Eulalia maybe OK but possibly too quiet then San Antonio may be more like.

Won't be hiring a car so don't want to be far away from activities.

Any ideas most welcome

Anyone recommend a plumber in Birchgrove area.

Have got a small leak from a right angled bend on radiator pipe.

The pipe comes through the wall then there is a pre manufactured right angle bend that joins to the small piece of copper pipe coming down from the valve on the radiator.

Has anyone had this procedure carried out.

Which company did you use and are you happy with the results.

I have complex prescription and get free eye tests because of it. Lazy right eye and very poor vision left eye. Wear contact lenses and have done for over 30 years.

New Travel Options
at 16:29 27 Feb 2018

Just had email from the club about the following bus options to the stadium.

https://www.swanseacity.com/news/swans-team-zeelo-fans-matchday-travel?_ccCt=C8s

SWANSEA CITY HAS PARTNERED WITH ON-DEMAND COACH SERVICE ZEELO TO PROVIDE SWANS FANS WITH A NEW INNOVATIVE WAY TO TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE LIBERTY STADIUM ON A MATCHDAY.
For Saturday’s Premier League game with West Ham, Swans fans will be able to travel together from 13 locations across South West Wales with the aim of making the matchday experience more enjoyable for the Jack Army.

Zeelo coaches will be in operation from the likes of Llanelli, Aberdare, Neath and Mumbles with passengers getting fast entry and exit before and after the game.

And to launch the new service, Zeelo are offering supporters the chance to travel to Saturday’s game for FREE with the use of a special promo code SWANS.

Zeelo uses leading technology to understand where there are large numbers of fans who have a difficult journey to each home game. They then serve this demand with executive coaches for a quick and seamless journey right to the stadium.

To start the initiative, the following routes will be in operation for Saturday’s game against West Ham.

Route 1 - Three Crosses, Dunvant and Killay.

Route 2 - Bishopston, Oystermouth and Mumbles.

Route 3 — Aberdare, Cwmdare, Aberdulais and Neath.

Route 4 — Llanelli, Loughor and Gorseinon.

A Swansea City spokesperson said: “It’s great that we can now offer this service to our fans. We are constantly looking to improve the transport issues on a matchday and this service from Zeelo is the first step towards that goal.

“Fans can enjoy a matchday with a drink or two and get to and from the game quickly and stress free.”

Barney Williams, co-founder of Zeelo, said: “We want to get as many fans as possible to the stadium every time Swansea play. This partnership allows us to provide a stress-free way to get to the game which is tailored for the fans.”

All services are run with executive coaches and customers can track their coach arriving in real time on a simple-to-use app.

All tickets must be purchased online at https://zeelo.co/t/swansea-city and the promo code SWANS entered at time of purchase to claim the free journey.

Return tickets will be sent directly to your mobile and are available from as little as £8 return for adults and just £4.50 for children and concessions

For more details, including ticket prices and pick up times, please visit https://zeelo.co/t/swansea-city

This service is run independently by Zeelo. All enquiries can be made at contact@zeelo.co or via their website https://zeelo.co/t/swansea-city
