Not long back from Spain and I did notice quite a few Spanish flags flying in various locations . Back in Blighty and the union jack is conspicuous by its absence. Strange state of affairs. |

"The Swans have to find new ways of raising funds and finance or the alleged gaps being plugged bi monthly (from the LLC I believe and fair pay to them) That won’t last forever. New ways of raising finance in needed quickly or I’m pretty certain the club will be on a precipice." I think a lot of clubs are starting to realise this hence Birmingham city acquiring the Wheels park in Smallheath 100 odd acres apparently . This will give them the acreage to build a new stadium , hotel , a gym , a spa . casino ( may not get permission for this due to local demographic) fast food outlets , car park and whatever else they are going to do. Their American owners realise the old stadium was hamstrung by its size and the lack of access due to surrounding housing , Couple this with the HS2 station at Curzon street being a short walk away - this will potentially make a future London fixture a 50 minute journey so will definitely increase ticket sales on a home and away basis . The problem they have is staying in the championship if they don't it could be along time before they are back up and aiming higher for the prem. |

Onana was blatantly wasting time throughout. |

Just watched it back - It's impossible to tell that it is offside. You just knew Man Utd were going to get the decision though . |

Lost after penalties .3-3 all after extra time . Felt for them personally I thought their disallowed goal in ET was very marginal. |

Marbella is a good place to visit . You can do it on the main A7 route from Fuengirola by coach ,Catch the number 220 red coloured Coach . Cost is 5 .50 euros single from Fuengirola but you can buy an Avanza card and get reduced fares. 60 per cent off . The bus stations should sell these I bought mine at Marbella . If you are travelling anywhere from Fuengirola to Estepona you could save quite a bit with one of these. The Avanza buses are coaches, so are fast .The journey from Fuengirola to Marbella takes about 55 mins . |

The late 70's early 80's Greece was brilliant for a holiday . Everything was so cheap the drachma was the currency not the Euro . You could eat souvlaki and drink retsina and ouzo to your heart's content and still have money left at the end of it. |

I had quite a good sleep , was warm enough the only slight drawback was the small vibration of the diesel engines through the deck . |

Dont worry I went for the cheapest option . No cabin , slept on the wooden deck under the stars . It was July so hottest time of the year. |

Yes, It was a long time ago . The acropolis was well worth a visit the highest point of Athens. It's mostly intact - the roof was only destroyed in the 1800's by the Turks who used it to store munitions . The roof was accidentally blown off by an explosion . Athens is huge and the buildings are generally very close together so in Summer it can get very hot -pollution was a problem back then . I don't know if it's as bad as it was then.. Visit Piraeus the port area if you can as you can get a boat to any of the islands quite cheaply . I caught one to Crete and spent a lot of time exploring the island . Lots of history and people very friendly . Athens I would say can be a little claustrophobic and bustling long term but if you like the relaxed way of doing things visit one of the islands. |
