I’ve got 5 sent emails in my mailbox, one to each of the mods, reporting abuse.
I don’t know what I’ve clicked, but can you just ignore it please.

I know he hasn't had the best of starts (out of position), but can we try to call him by his real name just for a bit? Calling him Clueless, Circus etc is a bit pathetic after four games

If we sell players for £70m, that doesn't mean we have £70m to spend (unless we raise money from elsewhere). All would have had loyalty bonuses (odd, I know), all would have had agents taking a fee, there was talk of Siggy having a sell on clause, don't know if it's true or not. Their replacements would have probably had signing on fees and agents fees. We are paying Bayern a loan fee for Sanches.
Bony does fit the style we are trying to play. We haven't seen the best of Tammy yet because he has been made to play a role that doesn't suit him. He is quick and his movement off the ball is superb. They make take a few games to gel, but I think they will form a great partnership.
Think Sanches is the player less suited to the style we have been playing rather than Bony, but when a player like that becomes available, you have to go for it. We may modify our style slightly, I don't think he suits a back and fore passing game. We may have a little less possession, but look a lot more dangerous with him charging through midfield.
Still a bit concerned about our full backs. I'm happy with both of them, but the way we have been playing and near enough any way we can play with so many central midfielders, requires them to overlap and provide width. That's a lot of running and we only have 3 of them with maybe Clucas to cover. I'd expect reinforcements there in January.
Overall, it looked a pretty tepid window until it burst into life around deadline day. A lot of that down to the Siggy saga. I've been critical of our board and I'm sure I will continue to be in the future, but credit where it's due, it actually looks like two very good transfer windows in a row.
Edit - also paying Chelsea a loan fee for Tammy

Seeing as Sportsmania was down until the football finished yesterday, is down again now and Jedi explained it should be ok with a VPN, can anyone recommend one? Thanks in advance
Edit - ideally one that comes with a walk through for installing on kodi!

Can we have one of these please, or a designated thread or something? Most of these spats are tremendously entertaining, but sometimes you just want to log on and read people's opinion on football.

Go ahead and play your under 23s against Palace. We don't care anymore.
As a childish aside, I hope Ajax beat you, just because it will upset the plastic Manc in the pub.

How many games can you let Bob Bradley manage and still not be relegated? I think we have set the bar pretty high with eleven to be fair.
Now let's not ever do anything like that again.

How are their fans viewing the run in? If they are looking at it as pessimisticallly as we seem to be, we have 3 reasonably winnable games, they have Southampton away on the weekend and potentially a title chasing Tottenham on the last day.
They probably think they need 3 wins from 4 as well.

This is his chance to really show what he is about.
Game plan will have to change completely with Amat at RB and with us lacking Llorentes physical presence and aerial threat. If we can get a result out of this, the man is class.

Why do they keep posting clips of us playing great football and scoring fantastic team goals? Isn't it bad enough that we built a footballing identity and threw it away, without having to be reminded of it?

First game I've listened to on the radio, so not sure what the commentary is normally like, but from listening to Simon Davies and Sam Ricketts, it seems we are playing with more shape and tactical awareness than we have been used to. Describing Cork splitting the centre backs and the full backs pushing on a few times is music to my ears. Sounds like we will have a reasonably settled, organised team before too long.

Just seen it again on MOTD, was too wrapped up in the drama at the game to appreciate what a composed finish it was. Brilliant

Seems to be the future of SCFC on here. Not knocking him at all, as he never lets us down, but how do we really know he is ready to be the main man in defence? He played 4 league games last season, probably a few more the two seasons before that, but he has never been a regular.
I get that we won't find out unless we give him game time and that he has suffered due to Ash's longevity, but I'm surprised at how confident everyone seems to be in him, given how little most will have seen him play.

Did we sign the wrong one?

Guidollin was brought in with one mandate and that was to keep us up. Whether you think our upturn in results is mainly down to him or Curtis, the objective has been more or less achieved.
Up until now, I have been an advocate of playing drab, insipid football and grinding out results. Staying up was more important to me than how we did. Now we can start to count our chickens, I'd like to see a bit more from him. Whether it's playing the likes of Kingsley more to give him first team experience, trying the likes of Montero and Amat to see if they are able to play their way into contention for next season or playing with a bit more verve and attacking purpose.
I honestly think that if he wants to be here next season he needs to step up the performance levels, the pressure is off now and he has bought himself a few games to show what he can do. Let's see what he has got.
This is not me having a dig at FG in any way, I think he has been smart so far in setting us up to nick points and keep us in the league. I haven't been at all bothered by the quality of football until now.
