The Ashes 2017/18
at 22:26 23 Nov 2017

196 for 4, not a bad first day that, Cork missed out though and 2 got starts but couldn't push on, disappointing for Root though, get Stokes out there.

Get stuck into the chopsie tw@t Lyon.

Are we really the same city that ran Tony Petty out of town?
at 20:33 23 Nov 2017

Fair play that's a heartfelt thought out post right there and pretty much spot on.

You won't walk away though Loyal none of us on here will in all honesty, we've invested so much into the club its simply to hard to just say, lets fuk it off and do somin else I'm not saying some of us might do it for a little while but the draw will be to big to simply just walk away and not look back. IMO

Indeed, get in there and get the shape back, Thing is, it was all so cosy with the sell-outs back in the day when they were all singing from the same hymn sheets, that changed when Jenkins and Co could smell the cash, but friendships had been formed and it was probably hard to just let that go understandable perhaps, but it obviously didn't help when the tough decisions had to be made, plus it was voluntary for most of them and not their livelihoods.

If you get what I mean, well what I'm trying to say.

Article in last nights Evening Post
at 11:15 23 Nov 2017

It’s a laughable article it really is, but all goes back to the same thing and that is the vast majority of SCFC Fans haven’t got a clue of the goings on behind the scenes before and after the sell off, that’s why l still find it annoying as to why the deal and the way it was done wasn't shouted from the roof tops, there’d be far more anger about on match days if it had been, would Jenkins and co still be here now if it had been, l’ll answer that as a yes because they’ve the skin of a Rhino, but they’d be sitting very uncomfortably l’d Expect.

Sorry Matt, but didn't you resign on the very same fact, [or did I read your posts wrong]?

I thought I read that some wanted to continue to negotiate and get back to the original deal, but you wanted to pull out, oh yes I see what you mean now although I did read things [not necessarily from your posts] that some wanted to continue to agree to the Yanks request, I meant have interpreted wrongly there though.
That said it was a poor deal to have agreed to in the first instance all be it on the result of the vote, but for them wanting to move the goal posts after that is a joke.

Darran I'm not going to be clever on this thread of such importance, but you have to admit that you see things as black and white, yes there are amongst us that are losing the guts for the whole debacle, mainly its lashing out as we aren't able to bring change, I'm a tradesman who knows absolutely very very little about how things work in a boardroom and also how to speak in such places, call it a lack of nous as that would be spot on, I've strong views which you and others know, but getting those views over and influencing people to be of the same mind ain't gonna happen, its not about influence that's the wrong word, but putting a teams idea's together and producing a programme to push that forward into action isn't something I could achieve, foot soldering is another matter though, although with work and my family situation I'm not sure how much time I could give to it, matchdays excluded, even there I work one in three Saturdays.
There's lots of others in probably a similar position, but it doesn't mean they cannot voice an opinion and especially on a Football Forum.

They needed to be stronger in campaigning for the departure of the sellouts, also pushing us to vote for that ridiculous deal offered by the Yanks who are now trying to move the goalposts and yet there's some at the head of the trust that want to accept that, without putting it to another members vote.

Its been said many times that what the sellouts did should have been broadcast loud and long, there were plenty of us on here willing to stand outside the ground on match day/go round the pubs with Leaflets on what had gone on behind the Fans Trusts back why wasn't it done? never mind all this about wanting to build bridges, because bridges have not be built, that's obvious with the yanks now wanting to renegotiate the deal that they themselves put forward.

The mess was already born, I'm afraid.

There's lot on here that have just about lost the guts for it all and I mean all, myself included.

To where Llandarcy or Swansea? Llandarcy not really has its easier to stick to A465 and it wouldn't be any quicker going another way, Swansea yes and I do after getting caught at Fabian Way and learning my lesson to never navigate that way again at those times.

How do you get about, Helicopter or do you cycle?

A465 going up towards M4 at Llandarcy, used to be free flowing from 7.30 till after 8am, not anymore though, it flows but mostly at a gentle jog.
Trying to get into Swansea travelling along Fabian Way around half 7 to 8, is a no go its horrendous.

Its normally quite busy at those times, but never that bad sweet heart and no it wasn't raining at that time, the rain started when my outside work started, terrific stuff.
I can't believe that one broken down vehicle created all that havoc.
