Quote from today's i made me laugh...
at 10:36 21 Apr 2018

"Let's get this out in the open. If there was one manager we would rather not see back in the Premier League it is the the Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock. It would be like serving cold sausage rolls at the royal wedding."
Fo what it's worth Colin always puts a smile on my face.

If there's a better (crime) drama this year I will be amazed. Brilliant cast and Lennie James is outstanding. Recorded last two episodes to watch tomorrow night before MotD.

Falkirk eh?
at 12:14 25 Jan 2018

From BBC website:
"Liverpool have agreed a £200,000 deal with Scottish club Falkirk to sign 18-year-old defender Tony Gallacher.

The left-back had a successful week-long trial at Liverpool's Kirkby Academy earlier this month and will now compete a permanent move to Anfield."

Can someone explain to me why...
at 16:42 21 Jan 2018

it's hammering down with rain, so I've wallked down the road to drop off my recycling - wearing an anorak with my hood up. In front of me is a neigbour and he's walking down wearing shorts, short shorts.
Is this a Valleys thing or an all Welsh thing? - Grown men walking around like ten year olds, wearing shorts regardless of the elements or time of year.

I feel positive about the management change but...
at 10:46 30 Dec 2017

Where are we likely to get points before the end of January?
Watford - manager who has orchestrated 4 straight wins against us 0 pts?
Spurs on fire and want revenge for 2 points lost in the 1st game 0 pts?
Newcastle a vague possibility of something 1 pt?
Liverpool gulp!! 0 pts?
Arsenal gulp!! 0 pts?
14 points by end of January plus cup exit against Wolves.
Come on all those who predicted an away win at Liverpool, where do we do better than that?

What sort of player would even consider signing for us in January?
at 12:00 16 Dec 2017

I'm struggling to imagine what sort of player would want to join us this transfer window. Certainly no-one ambitous. Maybe a League 1 player who sees us as a stepping stone? A foreign player who other clubs have overlooked (we're useless in that department.) A quality player at the end of his career who wants a last chance?
We might have a chance with a new manager, but I just cannot imagine a decent player wanting to come within a hundred miles of the Liberty with PC at the helm. I'm not sure any amount of money is going to work in our current situation. Give me something positive to think about - please!

Poor sod having to take a penalty in front of our crowd at the moment (I'd feign injury if I was him)

Wow - the great entertainers we are - NOT!
at 11:59 6 Sep 2017

Thought I would check the live matches after our BT game against Spurs, to see when we were next televised, and up until end of November:-
Arsenal on 7 times
Man U on 6 times
The giants of the game:-
West Ham, Brighton, and Newcastle on 5 times
Huddersfield on twice, Crystal Palace once.
And Swansea City? I'll let you guess................................................0

Two good seats in Upper East for the NEWCASTLE game
at 13:08 28 Aug 2017

Two tickets available (great seats in line with halfway line) for the Newcastle United match Sunday 10th September 4.00pm kick off. Only available because I have been badly let down by a friend. I paid £70 for the pair, want to get that or reasonably close to that for them.
PM if interested.

Wagner or Stam?Regardless...
at 10:06 21 May 2017

There will be three new first class managers in the Premier next season, with three teams stronger than the three relegated teams. The standard of the league was probably one of the poorest ever, next season WILL be much higher. To presume we can jog into mid table next season is one almighty leap of faith. The club has to put in one hell of an effort to get the next four months right, if we don't hit the ground running I don't think we will get a second chance like we had this year.

today's Telegraph profile on Marco Silva, a brilliant article by a top drawer journalist, the man (Silva) is destined for great things. Their prediction for final points tally: Swans = 35points Hull =43points. Wish I had not bothered!

...on this forum and in the Liberty because I do not think that one single player in our squad is SH*T. Maybe it's because I watched lower league football before I moved to the area, maybe it's because I played the game for 30 years in preference to watching, but I think some of the opinions are way beyond a joke. I repeat not one single player in our squad is SH*T and now the latest to hit the numpty's SH*T list is Fab. What I would say that is slowly approaching being SH*T is the support the team gets in the stadium. Fans/supporters -really? Give me strength!!
