Yates earning 5x the kit man's salary is ridiculous.

Just watched the highlights - rather uncomfortable viewing to be honest. Two excellent goals but dearie me, weren't we ever so lucky at times?

Go and have another look at it and note the panic on his face when he realises, he's under hit the ball. Better players would have chipped that into the net with no difficulty. He's going to have to improve 100% in most aspects of his game to get near the Fulham starting 11. We do have some poor loan players that's true.

"with probably the highest quality goal Swansea have scored all season courtesy of Charlie Patino."
Some of the rubbish you get to read on here is mind blowing!

"Good enough for England U21, Juventus and Fulham." Not in a zillion years!!!!

Major injury blow plus Williams puts his squad on notice
at 13:37 10 Apr 2024

Well stated.
The main reason I have not renewed my season ticket next season is not the poor standard of football but the sheer frustration of being surrounded by thousands of people who just do understand the sport they are watching (and then have to come on here and Facebook etc and repeat their load of drivel.) I have a lifetime of experience in the sport at every level and every position - playing/ managing/ refereeing/scouting/ coaching/directing etc. There is not the slightest doubt in my mind Grimes is a first-class professional and the standout individual in this squad. "Not vocal enough? - I assure you from experience that a filthy look or a shake of the head is far more effective that any degree of volume. Shouting at team mates is 'playing to the crowd,' which obviously would go down well at the Swansea.com.

Ronald seems to be going backwards at a rate of knots, Placheta has never set the world alight. Patto was diabolical when he came on against QPR. Our young debutant looked better than the other three combined, I'd definitely start him, we haven't had a player who looks tricky with the ball at his feet for a long time.

The whole matter was a hideous injustice - how it sneaked through in the first place is beyond me. My sister who was head of learning at Oxford University had to work an extra three years more than she had planned. My partner has had to work for an extra two years and cannot wait for the retirement date to arrive. Just two highly intelligent women shafted by a dodgy piece of legislation. I hope all these women who have been so poorly treated get some sort of financial compensation, if it carries on at the same speed as the Post Office fiasco most of them will be dead and buried before they get their settlements.

I'm chilling out for the next 7 days, presuming we'll comfortably lose the next 2 games, scoring nothing and conceding at least six overall. Anything other than that is a bonus.

Up to now(this season) he looks incredibly ordinary. Meanwhile Jay Fulton is delivering a master class on why he was selected tonight.

We need to improve on our performance against Blackburn, if that's as good as we can produce then we are in deep trouble .

Our home crowd is awful and (up to now) absolutely no help to the team whatsoever. It's no wonder are home results are so poor.

Tired and deflated??? Anything but, I would have thought having proved they can go to to toe with one of the Premier's big hitters

Patino is a very much player on loan - barely committed to the cause, half interested much of the time and capable of so much more which will no doubt happen when he gets a contract with a new club. Maybe he's pulled his finger out in training this week and will get a chance to shine, other than that the bench is where he belongs.

If we'd lost today, we would have only been only one point above relegation places - as it is 4 points clear at the present time feels a bit too close for comfort. Another big game coming up!

Looking at scores around the country, a win is a must for us today, the bottom 6 are not looking quite so vulnerable.
