Back in the 60's they were our footballing cousins. A big friendship between them and us. They were always on the small bank with boards spelling out LEYTON ORIENT hung on the railings. The two sets of supporters used to meet for drinks. Those were the days. |

I found Obi a lovely kid personally. Has anyone else got a first-hand opinion? I've never met RM but I've heard he is a nice guy, though couldn't manage a piss-up in a brewery let alone a football team. It's their work boys, bound to be someone in work each of you doesn't like. Even though personal likes and dislikes shouldn't be allowed to ruin the job. Maybe we need a better man manager in charge maybe. |

Agree. When he was playing and playing well Obi and Piroe looked class. without him they looked lost. Ever since the bust-up he's not been the same player, as a result, Obi and Piroe haven't either. So by losing Pato, because lost him we did after the bust-up, we have lost two players who were playing really well with him. A little better diplomacy from those behind the scenes might have been the answer. [Post edited 13 Jan 2023 17:48]

Cooper doesn't like skilful players obviously. Someone who can beat a man with guile not speed. Yan Dhanda is small I agree, but he can beat a man and has the skill to send the ball forward. First half today was wasted by taking the easy way out by playing the ball back all the time. No-one with the skill to turn and play it forward. I'm struggling to think of two skilful players out there today. I'll give Ayew the benefit of the doubt, and maybe Gallagher, who seems to have had the skill coached out of him and he too has started playing backward football. |

Why does Brewster escape criticism. Was lazy today, sometimes when your midfielders are struggling you have to come back and fetch a la McBurnie. He didn't break sweat today, but seems like it's taboo to criticise him. He wasn't the reason we lost the game, far from it, but I do think he could have helped a little. |
