The food is normally fine, nothing exceptional but good value for such a cheap price. They never show you to your table unless it’s already cleared so I do not get how you asked 5 times for it to be cleared,If you go in without booking they always ask you to wait at the desk until a clean, serviced table is available , we go about once a week upstairs and about 3 times downstairs and always get great service.

I do admit it’s not as good as when it first opened but still a great venue with stunning views , Stella is £3.75 pint which is cheaper than any of the local pubs on the other side of the road. They must be doing something right when it’s booked out most days, I bet la Parrilla would have been happy for 1/20th the custom BP gets.

You must have caught them on an off day I imagine.

Upstairs has gone downhill the last 12 months.

Downstairs is still a nice atmosphere with good service, despite 3 of their best staff leaving in the last 4 months.

Despite Torquay being its flagship the Mumbles branch has smashed all its nationwide turnover records so I doubt the owners are to worried.

Geoff told me a few times he only ever missed one penalty.

To think it’s 7 years next Tuesday since his funeral.

I am saying take advantage of the sign up offers and promotions and then play them at their own game of arbing if you must bet with them.

And if you do want a punt join Betfair exchange to get the true odds which is the only way you will ever win long term, if you win consistently with a bookie you WILL get banned.

Unlucky dicky, better luck next time.

There are at least 25/30 bookies sign up offers and more opening up all the time, you can also exploit each companies regular promotions like sky bets money back 2nds into free bets if you know what you are doing and they do these every week.

The 20s on dickys selection then went to 28 on the win market 18s on the each way so still massively above the parasites paddy power.

The bottom line is you get true odds to within 1% with the exchange at off, whereas the parasite bookies go over 50% over round (profit) on the grand national.

You will only ever see mug punters in the bookies since any consistent winner is banned or limited to pennies or put on PTL .

But you are taking pathetic value virtually every time you bet.

There are loads of sign up offers some up to £50 free bet or cash returned if a loser or you should/could use an exchange.

eg just taken a look at the horse dicky gave and its 20 on betfair so almost twice the returns.

If you are prepared to give paddy power, will hill, and the other parasites your cash fair enough,no wonder the woman who runs bet365 paid herself almost £600,000,000 over the last two years.

It takes two minutes to sign up,but obviously for some that is to much work to potentially gain £1000s over time.

I can’t believe there are still people using parasites like paddy power in 2020.

Just tooK 18/1 on BF for a fun bet, thanks dicky.

1.Gone in the Cricketers for a quick pint before start of play but strolled in 1/2 way through the afternoon session.
2.Run from the North Bank at final whistle to watch the final scores from the window of a TV shop.
3.Woken up in Penlan on a Sunday morning with the women you meet last night in the Top Rank and seeing 3 kids around the bed who are curious who is mammys boyfriend this week.
4.Walked across the old slip bridge
5.Feed the swans in Singleton Park
6.waited 6 hours in Morriston A&E before realising you would have been home 4 hours ago if you had gone to Neath & Port Talbot Hospital.
7.Laughed at the leftie losers who think Antoniazzi,Harris or Davies are in it for the interests of the people and democracy and not the £100,000 after ex’s they pocket and access to any local event where they can get free food down their fat faces.

The Mumbles one never took off and was always empty, whilst around the corner Bistrot Pierre is smashing all company nationwide turnover records.

A certain well known local asked for crayfish tails but with out the sauce but the manager refused but would not give a reason , something no other restaurant in the area has a problem with. That alone stopped a large group of people going there.

The son does enjoy his social life, which is great but maybe he should pay a little more attention to the business,I expect he’ll be back in the brassiere.
