If you agree with their opening statement “Thatcher viewed the miners as the enemy within” I’m afraid you sympathize with everything that’s gone wrong with not just British politics but British society and foreign policy as a whole. Following America into countless foreign wars and the loss of many thousands of young British servicemen and women is the greatest treason of all, especially when those wars achieved no material gain for the UK except in incoming of thousands and thousands of displaced refugees arriving here - would this have happened if we had reigned in the US or at least not been involved with the regime change ops in Iraq, Syria and Libya? And then scream blue murder when our servicemen with PTSD or with limbs missing are treated as second class citizens behind these displaced refugees? It’s a situation that’s warped beyond belief and it was Maggie sucking up to Reagan’s flattery and Blair’s narcissism courted by the moron GW Bush that has led us to this current landscape. Not to mention Hilary Clinton’s outrageous and criminal toppling of Gadaffi who like Saddam had kept their lunatics locked up. Now they’re dispersed around the world and God knows how many have already entered the UK. We’ve imported the Jihadis that all those “despots” had already kept locked away and the Americans hoovered up all the oil revenue. And as much as I despise Starmer I find myself grudgingly thanking him for not compounding those mistakes and conscripting my nephews and nieces into early graves.
Well of course - the other three are town or city clubs who steadfastly refused to embrace regional rugby. Neath and Swansea sacrificed themselves to make the concept work and look at their reward. I know you don’t like rugby but if anyone thinks this is a good thing think again. Centralisation has even spread into rugby and you can bet Cardiff County Council habe had some input into this.
As insane and irrelevant as your posts gp this is right up there alongside your finer works. Did they say sheep molesters as well? That would be some sort of ecstasy for you wouldnt it.
It has been mentioned that this could drive the world into recession overnight. A price worth paying for Israeli enlargement? More young American servicemen and women dead or maimed? Over a country with no nuclear weapons program ? Say what you like about Saddam and Gaddafi - Netanyahu O’s far more of a mad dog than those two combined.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s 30 year lie which has conditioned the west to believe Iran has nuclear weapons. (Though I think especially by now they would certainly have used them in this third completely unprovoked attack).
We have such short memories. This is him again lying over Iraq’s non existent (and proven beyond all doubt to be non existent) WMD’s which around a million people died in order for the US to help itself to Iraqi oil.
So hands up - who is prepared to send their children to die for the Israelis fighting against a country with no nuclear weapons (as all recent inspection teams have reported)???
There has been one consistent threat to world peace since 1948. Any guesses??
I think against Oxford he actually got played in behind a couple of times. That’s his game, he can’t beat any defender from a standing start but give him a yard and he’s away. Matos wants to play the game much quicker and this will definitely help Ronald/Eom/inoussa . Give them time.
They simply must forget Wales and apply to join the English rugby championship. It will be a far better course of action than waiting to be the next team culled. And how on earth could any Ospreys officials ever trust the WRU again?
We don’t know for sure if they haven’t already been speaking with the players in private as a group over zoom to give them encouragement.
A team under pressure and playing poorly might not want in your face publicity. When they’re flying high and on the crest of a wave yes but I think a quiet approach to sorting our problems out might be the best solution.
The thing for me is that having a player who can score with rockets from outside of the box with both feet should be an enormous asset to have in this league and should terrify opposition defences. I’m sure from what I’ve seen of Matos that he will sort out the best service for him.
Yeah we get it - you don’t like Vipotnik. I believe Matos will finally get into the players heads and provide him with the ammunition he needs - balls to run onto on the floor between either full back and Centre halves. Then he’ll do what he does best - blast the ball past the keeper with either foot. Different players have different methods but if you are implying that Cullen is a better player than either Vipotnik or Idah youre just being overly sentimental. If we could get decent money for him I’d sell.
Another win and another good performance. Sounded like we should have had more but the extra goals will come. Six out of six this week delighted for Matos and the players.
We were thrashed by a poor west Brom team the week before. We were stronger in every facet of the game against Oxford, who had managed to beat Ipswich at home (who had beaten us 4-1 and annihilated us). Can’t you allow yourself even som cautious optimism? We won our first game for a month - savour it.
Couldnt agree more, if this is what we can expect from Matos then i think we are all going to be a lot happier. All this without his preferred staff too. I’ve given Eom some proper criticism but he was magnificent yesterday. Stamenic looked good and in general I thought we were excellent on times too. Can’t wait to see how we look in a month’s time.
To be honest if I saw Cullen on the team sheet every week in front of me knowing I was the much better player I’d be having a paddy as would most of us.
Cullen is a rotten apple who was awful against Bristol City. He’s weak and contributes nothing but pointing . Give Widdell a chance - physically strong, aggressive and skilful. Plus he will have a go shooting wise.
I’m going to give Motos my 100% support. He seems to know what’s wrong and give none of the flannel like Sheehans, Martin and Williams gave and without throwing the players under the bus. It’s do or die today and we will see what the players give and what heart they show. If it’s as pathetic as it was at Bristol City and we lose this 6 pointer then the club have to act in January.
