All I’ll say as far as Joe Allen and Kyle Naughton are concerned is, injuries seem to come more frequently, and take longer to recover from, when you’re older.
We seem to have more coaches than National express, so can we afford to take a chance on
Paying them while they learn how to manage/ coach, while taking a chance of them not incurring more injuries ? |

What ever you do don’t give this guy a new contract!
From finishing twice in The Playoffs, to mid table obscurity, probably for 2 seasons running, you would hardly call that progress, let alone a “Process†in action.
If our glorious owners fall for his BS, and offer him a new contract, I for one will an ex-season ticket holder come next season.

Shambolic defending, no pace in midfield, 75% possession then ship 3, 4 goals in more games than I care to remember. 140+ corners without a sniff of a goal.

I really don’t know how the hell he’s done it, playing the shite football we have been accustomed to watching, but to get us into the playoffs twice, with the players we have, and probably more importantly, with the players we didn’t have due to our Yankee owners not spending a dime of their own money, it’s been truly remarkable.
The players obviously trust him with the way he sets them up, and must believe in his coaching methods, otherwise that team spirit that got us there (twice) would not have existed.
