What is the truth behind Mykola Kuharevich ?
at 18:00 8 Feb 2024

Please Keith, have you any info to enlighten us all, on wtf is going on with MK?
One would have to assume (as 2 of our managers already have ) is it because he’s not that very good ?

Or is it something to do with “The data” ?

Utilising that well known footballing analytical tool, known as “Yates’s Law”
This involves the correlation of data of a cow’s arse and a banjo.
Firstly you measure the bovine’s rear, then the circumference of the said musical instrument.
Next you APPOINT KEN GUDE AS CHIEF OF STAFF AND HEAD OF STRATEGY, who switches on the computer.
Because He has extensive experience in communications and messaging, he processes the data and it prints out……”Yates needs a bigger banjo, and the cow’s arse needs to be smaller”

Just renewed season ticket
at 22:23 5 Jan 2024

I had to wait just in case the owners made another Duff appointment.
I know some will say I can’t be a “proper “ supporter if I didn’t renew, no matter who came in.
But I'm revitalised after doing a bit of research into Luke Williams’s ethos, on how he manages a football club.

Watson, Duff,Coleman

Considering their previous 13 transfer dealings, and where we are currently as a team/squad, the thought of these 3 mapping out our future in subsequent, and not just this January’s transfer window, sends a cold chill right through my Swans, footballing soul.

I agree with Kelvin Keegan
at 16:58 6 Oct 2023

Could agree more with him. Sick and tired of having the obligatory woman on a sports panel, just to tick the PC box.
What brought it home to me was watching a rugby World Cup match, and at half time there were 2 women on the pitch, reviewing the first half’s play.
How, with all due respect, would they know the forces involved when a fullback is trying to stop a 17 stone winger, running at full speed toward him?
When the England lionesses were playing you had 3 women on the TV panel, plus 1 woman commenting. Where’s the male balance there ?
Even if they are ex-players, there are completely different nuances, between the male physique and that of a woman, which come into effect no matter what sports they are taking part in.
It is totally down to the PC / woke brigade and their perceived entitlement to have their say in everything, even sports.

As we are on the rebuilding cycle once again, with a new manager, new players and a new system, which month are you going for, when Michael Duff receives his manager of the month award?

January.

The “New Investors”
at 12:37 10 Aug 2023

What a difference these “new investors” have made. When was the last time our transfer business was like this one, (with these owners) ever?
Shareholders who are now making the right grownup footballing decisions, that have always been missing to move our club forwards.
Time will obviously tell, but pre new investor time, it’s been a bit like watching “The Truman show”
where you can’t quite believe what your watching in front of you, is true.
Where in the past it’s been all smoke & mirrors, now all of a sudden we have a manager who has the backing of The Board !
Would you Adam & Eve it ??
This new Infrastructure, including the management side of things,in my humble opinion, is starting to resemble a club (dare I say it) with Premiership aspirations.
We done to all concerned

Self order units
at 11:09 6 Aug 2023

So why not THE EAST STAND ??
It would be quicker to repaint The Sistine chapel roof, than it now takes to get served a pint at the stadium ! ~~>

Self-order units have been installed at the Swansea.com Stadium ahead of the 2023-24 season.

For the first time, supporters will be able to order food and drink on arrival ready for collection at half time.

The self-order units will be located in the West and South Stands of the Swansea.com Stadium, with supporters situated in these areas able to order in advance.

In order to use these units, supporters are advised to place their order at the ‘Order Here’ terminal and pay by card, before collecting at the designated collection points within the concourses.

Supporters can choose from all the fan favourites, including the Vetch Pasty to refreshing pints of Dark Fruits.

As a forward-thinking football club, Swansea City pride themselves on implementing the latest technology in order to improve overall fan experience.

The introduction of these self-order units will see order times minimised, with the process looking to deliver a quick and efficient service, leaving supporters with more time to enjoy the game.

The video below demonstrates just how easy this process is, with a four-step guide on how to use the self-order units.

The operation of these self-order units will commence on the July 25 when Swansea City host Bristol Rovers at the Swansea.com Stadium in a pre-season friendly.

Please note that there will be stadium staff present to help anyone in need of assistance.

I said it when for some completely unknown reason, he was given a years contract when we didn’t actually have a manager in situ.
Why was he given this contract?
Who sanctioned it?
Great servant bla dee blah, but where was the thinking wasting valuable wages on a 35 yr old player?
I was totally baffled at the time, even more so now

Chairman Andy Coleman
at 09:55 7 Jul 2023

After my early blast of enthusiasm concerning the “New” investors, and the appointment of Duff, Watson and the 2 new signings, I’m starting to get a slight uneasy feeling with our Chairman.
His “significant” investment that hasn’t been registered in Companies house (yet?) is starting to ring small alarm bells for me.
Remember a certain Chris Pearlman anyone?
Same nice grey shiny suit, all the way from so good they named it twice, New York.
His mission statement when he came in 2016 was:

“I’m pleased and excited to be given the opportunity to help grow the Swansea City brand on a global basis. The club has a rich history and a fantastic story to tell. It will be my job to help tap into that from a commercial perspective, including the utilisation of new revenue streams and markets”

I hope Andy Coleman’s rhetoric is backed up with fundamental changes in the way we are run as a profession Championship set up, and not the smoke & mirrors of the past.

Let’s hope he takes the advice of his father, for the future of our football club.

‘Andy, don’t tell me what you are going to do, show me what you’ve done’.

MD’s assistants announced
at 17:11 28 Jun 2023

Swansea City head coach Michael Duff has made two additions to his coaching staff.

Alan Sheehan and Martin Paterson have joined the club as assistant head coaches, and take up their duties with immediate effect.

Sheehan, 36, who has held first-team coaching positions at Luton Town and Southampton, enjoyed a lengthy playing career that saw him feature for Leicester, Mansfield, Leeds, Crewe, Oldham, Swindon, Notts County, Bradford, Peterborough, Luton, Lincoln and Northampton.

The former left-back also won five caps for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s, and held a player-coach role with Oldham before his move into full-time coaching with Luton in 2022.

Paterson, meanwhile, played with new Swans boss Duff for Burnley and Northern Ireland, helping the Clarets secure promotion to the Premier League in 2009.

He worked alongside his former teammate at Barnsley last season, having previously held coaching positions in the United States with Tampa Bay Rowdies, Fort Lauderdale CF and Inter Miami.

The 36-year-old former striker represented Stoke, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Burnley, Huddersfield, Bristol City, Fleetwood Town, Orlando City, Blackpool, Port Vale, Tampa Bay and ATK in India during his playing career.

Kris O'Leary will remain as part of Duff's backroom team in his role as first-team coach.

Further updates regarding the first-team coaching staff will be made in due course.
