Luton attacking player Harry Cornick has rejected Swansea City in favour of Bristol City in the last half an hour. The twenty seven year old will complete a medical this afternoon we are told.

Cornick had expressed an interest in leaving Luton this month as he is out of contract in the summer. The Swans have been rumoured to have made an offer to the Hatters however Bristol City with cash in the bank from the sale of Antoine Semenyo to AFC Bournemouth. This is another blow to Russell Martin in his endeavours to bring in more experience upfront for the Swans.

The reasons for Cornick’s snub are not yet known but he was looking for a three year contract with his own terms being well within Swansea City’s budget.
