Im starting to look at my pre-season bets.
Konk, I fancy Fulham (hate to say it) to win the Championship now you have kept Mitrovic and Cairney as well as adding chappy from Brighton.
Whats your thoughts on how youre going to go? |  |

I dunno mate!
Up front, Mitrovic is brilliant at this level and we've now signed Knockaert and Ivan Cavaleiro on loan, so that's probably as good a front three as you can expect to see in the Championship. But there's no replacement for Mitrovic if he's out.
Midfield - Cairney, Johansen and McDonald were great last time round and didn't get to play together last season...should be decent in midfield. Anguissa improved at the end of the year and looks like he may well stay.
Defence and keeper - Bettinelli is decent at this level, but nothing more, we can't really judge Mawson after a season struggling with injury, but you'd hope he'd be okay. Looks like Ryan is off, so that's Bryan at LB - decent for Championship. Stephen Sessegnon may well get time at RB.
Parker - nobody really knows. I would be disappointed not to make the play-offs now, but without strengthening at CB - ideally someone with pace as Mawson isn't the quickest and probably RB, although I'd like Sessegnon to be given a proper run there. Once again, we'll probably score a few goals and have a ropey defence.
Lots of other people seem to fancy us, but I'd generally quite pessimistic where Fulham are concerned. Probably worth a few quid, but don't blame me if it all goes wrong! |  |

Hard to see past Fulham for me, I would be amazed if they didn't go up.
As it stands I would guess at;
Fulham, Leeds & West Brom to go up
Barnsley, Millwall and Charlton to go down |  |

I reckon Cardiff are a very strong contender - Warnock just has this division sussed. If you want to know what's great about modern football, according to the bloke who does my Barnet and most of the Bristol City squad, Flint was in the other day and he's just spent the best part of £250k on an Aston Martin. Feels like this is the season Brentford actually do it, same with Bristol City.
Cardiff will be right up there as well.
I think WBA, Boro, Leeds, Derby have all missed the boat and will begin scrambling to get in line with FFP.

Top six/seven accumulators often better option than picking league winners.
Sunderland should be too strong in league one and Bradford City have a good forward line for league two. | | | |

Yeah they've spent a lot turning loans to perms but I don't think they've pushed the needle yet. But they still might.
Stoke are my dark horses, for play offs at least. Seemed a weird raft of signings but also quite purposeful and tailored to Jonesball. Clicking well in pre-season by all accounts.
Other than that, there still feels like a ton of business about to be done everywhere. I still don't fancy West Brom. I think Barnsley will be fine. |  | | |

I think Fulham and Cardiff will get automatic promotion. The play-offs are hard to call but I can see Stoke, Bristol City, Leeds and WBA going close.
Not sure on Brentford. They seem to have moved away from their model and have splashed the cash. I hear their owner thinks the odds are in their favour this season given the poor make up of the Championship. Shite or bust for them I think.
