Was Saturday, now Friday Wednesday Match Thread 14:56 - Jan 24 with 15332 viewsPinnerPaul

The other two threads are really about attendance, so thought I would start this as THE match one!

It doesn’t look like most of the players are that bothered so far about winning this tonight either...

Nope it’s Sh1t another winnable cup game p1ssed up the wall seriously this club gives me the hump at times

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Will our one game cup run come to a shuttering halt tonight?

Poll: Are we gonna make the play offs?

It's like watching Milliband eat a bacon sandwich, painful and you want to look away

It might be out of date, but that’s a pretty good analogy 😆

No intensity to play from either side. Will end 0-2 I reckon.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Agree with you on that! Why we can’t consistently put the effort in for cup games is beyond me...

This is dreadful. Sorry in advance for dooming us to this the moment I turned on the telly, only ever win when I listen on radio

I haven't read the Clarke thread but I thought I'd seen him play well for Leeds a couple of times. Certainly hope there's no chance of him as part of any deal for Eze on the balance of that performance, he is way out of form and confidence, couldn't do anything right unfortunately

Clarke looks like his pissed about in a big clubs academy all his career whilst BOS looks like he’s come up through non league...

Agree. Also the second Wed goal (when (not if) it comes) will kill us because we won't want to 'risk' leading a comeback to 2-2 and a replay.

The magic of the Cup. It runneth over.

Chair shoots, just wide, but took a deflection off one of their mob and should have been a corner.

Then Hugill makes a great run, receives the ball but bobbles the shot wide.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

In fairness I don’t think he’s had much game time this season so needs a few games to get in the swing of it.
