Why bother? If we'd won today, against the bottom team, we'd be four points from the playoffs with eight games left and everything to play for. The players should have been busting a gut, as Barnsley were. |

Interesting point about the mindset. Listening to Mick McCarthy on the Cardiff game now, he made the observation that managers complaining about the season restarting puts players in a negative frame of mind. He intimated this has been reflected by how some teams have played in the first game back. That did seem to be the case with us. |  | | |
