Must be so strange being in your world.

Wake up 5 minutes late: well, that's the day fked, might as well stay in bed.

Drop toast at breakfast :Well that's it, I'll starve to death now.

Run out of toothpaste: Well, all my teeth will fall out before lunch.

I mean, it's exhausting for me reading your handbag-clutching, the end is nigh shtick every day, so god knows what it's like living it every moment of every day.

You know - clubs miss transfer targets all the time. You (constantly) go on about the waste of a few years ago - but a lot of that waste literally came from buying targets at all costs. Now whenthe club sensibly draws a line in the sand, it's still wrong.

Bare bones.

First of a few more physical players I hope make their way to us fed up reading how nice our football then we only make 3rd place and lose out in the play offs.Want teams to hate us for kicking lumps out of them after being played off the park and nicking 1 0 win.Could mean Jeanvier or Pontus are off.

To be fair, he didn't mention 'Bungle' this time...

Honest questions, LB, and definitely not having a go:

1) How re the club "clowns" in this?
2) What could/should they have done differently?

I wouldn’t be bothered if he has, always found him a strange bloke think he done a decent job as a leader but don’t think he is as good as he thinks he is as a player.

Goode is clearly a punt we can’t afford to make. £1m plus a 4 year deal (remember those? SWP and JET come to mind). Probably higher wages than we can pay. As was mentioned above, Austin was a punt we could afford, but we simply don’t have the money now, and that as much as anything will dictate who we can legitimately go for.

Was he worth a punt? Brentford seem to think so, and he seemed to be on our wish list, but not at any price for us. I am comforted by the impression that at least we seem to have a shortlist of options. I like the approach that any potential additions have to be better than what we already have, otherwise there’s no point. Makes sense to me.

It's not "in this"....... it's just in everything they attempt to do.

Hoos seems a decent operator but at every other level we just appear a bunch of novices and our approach to transfers is a well documented history of disasters with rare times it all comes together.

Anyway I'll leave it there as this seems to increasingly be a bit of a North Korea zone where the divine leadership can do no wrong, must not be questioned and any grumbling has scorn poured on it by the Loft For Woke massive.

Plus those variations on a D&B JCT '96 wont price themselves Brian my old mucka

LB,

I know I'm a leftie but North Korea?

I think we're being run well on every level now - Bhatia, Hoos, Ferdinand, Ramsey - and have been for a few years. The Academy's going really well, finances are good after potential administration and we have a new training ground.

I always agreed with you about Fernandes , but he's no longer in charge. And we're better off for it.

Cheer up, ya ol' bugga!

No idea what to think of him going to the Bees as have never seen him play.

Good to see we are in the same market as the bees considering their recent success flogging players. Hope we are still in to get another centre back, particularly one who can head corners away!

"Good to see we are in the same market as the bees considering their recent success flogging players."

I really don't want to come across as smug (though I'll get accused of it anyhow), but I'm not sure that holds.

I suspect we were in the market for a back-up CB, ideally with future potential to challenge first-choice CB's Pinnock and Jansson, who I doubt are going anywhere this season.

Whereas had QPR signed him, he'd likely have been challenging for a starting place straightaway, no?

Right now, our "market" is bidding £6m for players, rising to £10m, eg Ivan Toney.

Though tbf, if anyone had suggested figures like that from BFC even a couple of seasons ago, he'd have been laughed off the internet.

Once upon a time we signed a few Champions League winners and paid a player £100k a week (allegedly) and it was the most miserable time of my QPR life.

Be careful what you wish for. If you are going to be smug, be smug about your new stadium and thoughtful ownership and not telephone number signings.

Fair enough, but if we've come a long way from where we were a couple of seasons ago, we're still a hell of a sight further away from CL/£100k pw signings.

And in truth, I can't ever see Bees being in that market, even if we made the PL and stayed there.

Sorry mate, this is bollox.
I don't think there's a single person on here who hasn't criticised the owners. Not one. The difference is most people are far more balanced. In contrast, with you, it is purely negative (although I applaud the rare good word for Hoos there - well done). Then when you're called out on it you blither on about North Korea. Horsesh!t. You're the one with the inability to see anything other than the negative, and scorn is constantly poured on anyone with an alternative view - I mean pouring scorn is literally your MO. Yoiu're a one-man scorn-pouring machine 2with your hilarious nicknames and so forth. Now you're playing the victim and going on about 'woke'. Dearie me. Have your views and post them, but if you do, be man enough to take it when people (rightly) exercise their prerogative to pick you up on them and argue back.

Bare bones.

It's nice know you care Antti.... it really is.... "mate"

Playing the victim? Fcuk off fella! I wouldn't last two seconds in the world I move in if that was me, and the reality is I couldn't give a rats arse. I did think about not even replying but thought I've got a few seconds I can dedicate to you.
You've got me down as some self flagellating, inferior complexed up proper negative sad case...... the last bit you're probably bang on and when it comes to Queens Park Rangers Football Club I'm usually negative as we're such a circus. Go back however and you'll find praise from me on Amit & Ishkan who when I spoke to them filled me with positivity (bigger miracle workers than Jesus H Christ them two hey?)
Go deeper... Chris Ramsey? Possibly the mans biggest critic in his Managerial role but now I think we have one of the UK, if not Europe's, finest men in his position and I'm really impressed with what's being developed by him.

I'll get back in my box in any case as I'm not "man enough" to be argued against.

Look forward to your superior knowledge and reading of the game, sunny disposition and all round general good guy jerk posts over next season.

Fair play fella. Glad 10 years ago you found a positive and also after your frankly horrible treatment of Ramsey on here you've now come full circle and man enough to admit you were wrong. But the Ramsey thing really only backs up my point. The relentless negativity and name-calling of a profoundly decent man and seriously good coach was uncalled for and grossly unfair. It's nice that you recognised that - I'd love to see more of that side of you.
I freely admit to knowing (in the scheme of things) very little about football (My first take after watching Dom Ball was some way wide of the mark, for example). I have me views, but don't pretend they're anything other than that - my understanding is limited (compared to the pros), but one thing I aim for is a bit of balance rather than the tired old 'he's lazy', 'he don't care' 'he's tactically naiive' tropes that we see far too much of from fans. That's not always been me - I cringe at some things I've shouted at games or posted on here over the years, and my hatred of Redknapp from the start was obvious, even if I'd heard plenty of first hand evidence of to support my feelings on him, and at times I was OTT (although never resorting to the candleface nonsense which I always felt was horrible).
We all have ups and downs, rights and wrongs. But no one here - no one - thinks the owners are perfect and can't be questioned. That's just a silly argument. The club are doing a lot of really good things at the moment, arguably better than at almost any time in the last 25 years in terms of forward-planning and long-term vision. Are they doing everything right? No. Should they be held to account? Yes. Is this a circus being run by a bunch of clowns who never do anything right? Not really, no. Should we ride the punches a bit when we don't land a transfer target rather than just assume it's all a giant fk up? Yes.
We all get upset, angry, baffled etc. That's natural. But I think to a large degree, with you, and based on your posts, the club often simply can't win.

Bare bones.

FWIW Sean Gallagher is saying what interest we had in Goode was very overblown by the weirdo fake ITK Twitter accounts.

Dickie is meant to be the one we're after, although you imagine we'll have to sell someone pronto to make that happen.

Totally agree and very happy to see us sign an established British player who has come up through the leagues and given an opportunity.Think there is going to be some surprised fans of ours and other clubs when the sales of Eze Benrahma Watkins are completed as I can’t see them being anywhere near fans expectations

Let’s be frank, just looking at these two players you just know Dykes will batter Goode in any 50/50 challenge. Goode may be a nice ball playing centre half, but I’m not convinced he’s ready physically for Dykes’ shoulder barge.
