My Welsh isn't great but I think I made out "Great strike from the boyo Alfie Tuck, available from the category 2 QPR academy for two packets of Walkers cheese and onion crisps."

Based on our transfer history, we'd probably settle for that only to find they were out of date last Wednesday.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

I went to a few matches in the first part of the season and apart from Willock being on fire for a while I actually thought Balogun was the best player on the pitch by some distance. Marshalled the backline really well, hugely comfortable on the ball and at 34 a lot quicker than those around him bringing the ball out and his distribution was excellent. Assuming that he has had yet another bad injury (there have been many elsewhere) and that he is now actually fit I'm quite relieved at the thought he's hopefully back, if nothing else to shore up the back line.

Agreed. Was certainly our best defensive player.

I read that Ethan Lairds contact at Manure is up end this season. Doubt he would want to come to us and more so we cant afford him so expect to see him terrorise our full backs next season provided we stay up

It was on news now so could be Ethan Hawke

Think it was Manchester Evening News that had Laird's contract up at the end of the season, but MU had an extra years option on him.

Why am I thinking that Balogun is back after six months just in time for the run in to put himself somewhere for a new contract as his current one only lasts to the end of the season?

Because you forget that our medical team were treating him for a calf injury for 3 months before realising the primary problem was a broken bone in his foot..but he probably should have realised, so let's blame him anyway

I don't expect to see any of these playing much of a part this weekend, other than bench warmers, but potentially returning properly for easter weekendish.

I think Chair & Paul were missing because they're further ahead and pointless risking them against a bunch of rookies, given our luck with injuries this season
Or to appease the donuts, luck with a host of players not trying and pretending they're injured,,rolls eyes
