Thankfully I'm more wrong than right when it comes to football, which is why I don't bet on Football but I just have that sinking feeling

Been impressed with the Tarquins but Perreira is a disgrace with his play acting antics.

Rather Liverpool go through (over 2 legs) as they'll have a far better chance of defeating the scum. 1-1 now.

Fulham dumped on their backsides a bit tonight. Had two gilt-edged chances to go 2 up in the second half but their forwards couldn't sort themselves out.

I went up to Liverpool last night and whilst we should have gone 2-0 up when Bobby shot rather than squared the ball, I would have taken 2-1 before the game, and they could have scored more in the second half, when we were getting overrun for long periods. Think most Fulham weren't too downhearted.

You'd expect Liverpool to go through, but we're very much still in the tie. And despite historically having the worst penalty record in the universe, we've actually gone through on pens V Tottenham and Everton in the LC this year... If we did win the fu cker, then doing it against Chelsea might make it worth the 145 wait for our first major trophy!

Scousers seemed to be a bit tight with your allocation as I thought they would give the whole end seeing as it's the cup

Not sure, but I think we may have asked for a smaller allocation rather than the whole end - no way we'd have shifted 6,000. Think it was about 3,500 or something in the end.

Cheers, mate! I'm sort of resigned to us never winning anything, but if we're not losing after 30 mins on the night then I might start believing!

Not getting carried away, unlike my son who came out of West Ham v Bristol City on Sunday, and asked me whether we were guaranteed tickets for the FA cup final if City got there!

Good luck - always nice to see one of the 'other' clubs make a final.

Much as QPR fans whinge and moan but in the last 15 years we've won the Championship and a Play Off final. More trophies than a lot of League clubs in that time.

The League Cup means piss but I'd be happy enough for Fulham to win it. But as much as I hate Chelsea and Liverpool, which is as much as you can reasonably hate a thing, I don't really care.

When Chelsea won the Champions League they essentially won football. Football ended that day really.

But there was an upside. Once they did that, I stopped caring as much about them. I still hate them and will celebrate but they've won and like Newton's Fourth Law of thermodynamics says 'once your gob has been bummed, it cannot be unbummed.'

It's liberating really. I freed me from caring. The downside is that I hear they're shit now but I'm not really getting to enjoy it.

Liverpool can f**k off too. But really unless we're winning something, it's all dead to me.

I had an invite up to Anfield from some Fulham mates for the game. Alas I’m on a dry January (not recommended) and as much as I love the city and all who sail in her there’s no way I’m gonna spend a cold winter’s day (and evening) in Liverpool as sober as judge. Good luck Fulham for the 2nd Leg 🙏🏼

Yeah, I really like Liverpool: friendly locals, great pubs, football obsessed, and loads of beautiful buildings, but for me, it's mainly a great city for drinking.

Thanks for the good luck messages, folks.

Inlaws are scousers and can confirm few cities do all day drinking pub crawls like Liverpool.

Yeah I still hate them. Well, Chelsea. Not so much Fulham. Hating Fulham feels contrived. But yeah Chelsea. But I hate them more on a human level. If you're a Chelsea fan you may as well be a Tory MP, sex criminal or professional dog fight organiser in my eyes. I remember driving past a kid, A KID, in a Chelsea shirt and saying 'c*nt' reflexly.

But do I care if Chelsea win, lose or draw anymore? Nah, can't say I do. The only result I can hope for now is them somehow getting liquidated. Even relegation wouldn't get me the way the John Terry miss did.

Was walking through the local park with my son the other day. Some kids were kicking a ball around and one little gobshite in a Chelsea shirt was taking a penalty. When it was saved my son instinctively went into a fist-pump celebration. So proud.

Love it! 10 years ago I took my young niece and nephew up from the South Coast to see the women’s FA Cup Final - their first visit to Wembley. It was a sunny day, we had great seats by the half way line, and I could tell by their faces they were thrilled. The Final that year was Arsenal v Chelsea so I gave them the house rules - you can cheer for whoever you want but if you cheer for Chelsea you’re finding your own way back home.

Can't stand the place. Full of England hating "plastic paddies". Rather see Fulham or Chelski win it.

Feel very anxious about tonight's game. Stressing. Liverpool obviously the strong favourites, but if we score first... you never know. Possible scenarios:

1) Fulham beat Liverpool tonight and beat Chelsea in the final. Couldn't get any better than that. Would probably cry if that happened.

2) Fulham lose tonight.

3) Fulham win tonight and then lose to that lot in the final. Would probably cry if that happened.

Even if we win tonight, I'm not sure I could enjoy the build-up to the final because we have such a bad record against Chelsea AND they're the spawniest club ever. I don't think I could cope with being surrounded by those divs if we lost to them in a final. It was bad enough losing to them in an FA cup semi-final.

That poxy club have even got me seeing a downside about possibly getting to our first domestic cup final in 49 years!

Well, Konk, don't forget the tale of Middlesborough in the 90s. Two cup finals, both lost, and relegation in the same year. Death AND Glory.

There's always a downside!
