Interesting stuff, thanks.

This was fascinating: "We also need changes to take place with the training ground which is currently not able to be used due to the standards of the facility". Are the pitches made of concrete, I asked myself. That issue with the training ground must make their dire situation even worse. Perhaps they train in My Chemical Hugill's back garden.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I think it's basically low lying land next to the River Don which, particularly since the flood defence protections were put into Sheffield City Centre, regularly just empties out into the poorer bits of South Yorks around Rotherham, Donny, Bentley, Adwick etc and floods those poor bastards instead. For much of the winter Rotherham's training pitches are waterlogged.

They often have to train at the stadium because the pitches are "under water or boggy", and that in turn makes the stadium (which doesn't have undersoil heating) a dodgier surface.

They must being doing something right, they got Derby to pay them some money for Connor Washington. Undisclosed so could have been £9.99

"Put frankly this season has been a disaster, with us looking at another Championship season without an away win."

That opening line sent a shiver down my spine.

If they go down, we need to see how we can get Johannssen for us - miles ahead of Begovic.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Great call. I've always rated him highly.

I suspect that now that he's in the Swedish squad, we may have missed our opportunity.

But yes, he's an excellent keeper first and foremost. I don't know how good he is with the ball at his feet, but I'd be surprised if he's as slow/ ill at ease as Begovic.

Watched the highlights of their game v Ipswich and the penalty given to them was soft to say the least, then the camera switched to the ref. Need I say more?

I suspect there will be a few after him but, yes, worth a cheeky bid (if we can afford it).
