Their are Novotel and an Ibis hotels in Greenwich. Great selection of pubs and restaurants to enjoy pre / post match.
Good luck to those that have booked a hotel in Woolwich, it is a shithole. Town centre that is (cannot speak for the hotel) [Post edited 5 Jan 13:13]

Depending on your budget, the Clarendon Hotel overlooking the heath in Blackheath would work well. Five minutes to Charlton by train and plenty of good pubs/places to eat in Blackheath too. | | | |

Was about to say the same re Woolwich…was a shithole when I lived nearby in the 80’s and has got steadily worse since.
The Ibis/Premier Inn in Greenwich is clean and functional as well (have stayed in both) , plus only a few stops on the train.
