I would be quite pleased if TF announces Hughes as No1 & Wilkins as our Assistant.
Think Hughes has got the ticks in the right boxes and Wilkins plays the type of football that is good for me - he knows the game as well. Both are well respected around the world too.

Also to add to my above post, we have just lost a man that has done a terrific amount for this football club and I find it quite offensive with Ray Wilkins being mentioned. I back Tony's decision but with regards to Wilkins he should be remember just as a brilliant footballer and I am quite upset and disappointed your lack of knowledge has asked for wilkins to be part of the staffing set up. | | | |

On Wilkins, whereas I don't see him as a manager, saying he was a bib picker upper at Chelsea simply isn't true. One thing the guy can do is bring on young players and motivate senior players. I wanted him in to assist Warnock but perhaps he'll get a chance under whoever comes in. |

It looks like a done deal that Hughes is on and personally, I think he ticks the boxes for us.
