Tony Fernandes Seems like a decent guy. Explaining NW's sacking and answering fans questions on twitter is above the call of duty.
It seems that a lot of you are upset by the sacking of NW but TF has your club's best interests at heart.
Ipswich are owned by the faceless Marcus Evans - we don't know what he looks like, question a lot of his decisions, but more importantly hear very little from him or about him. Knowing nothing about your owner is a concerning position to be in.
Two seasons ago we beat you 2-1 at Loftus Road in a game tipped to be a relegation 6 pointer for both clubs. Now you are in the premier league and we are still lingering around at the bottom of the Championship.
I know a lot of you are upset by the decision to sack NW, but take comfort in your current position.
Most of our fans are calling for Paul Jewell's head, and whether or not he goes, it seems we are going to be no better off with or without him.
You have made it to the promised land, so enjoy it whilst it lasts, because as you all know well, lingering at the bottom of the Championship when you have a rich owner and a bundle of over-payed, underachieving players is a much worse position to be in than where you are now. It could be a lot worse, just look at us....

Hi Greektractor.Some of our fans do seem to have short memories.Some seem to forget that for the last 15 years we have hovering about where you are now,and even lower.
We have gone from a regime where we got no information at all,to the one we have now,which seems to conduct its business via facebook and twitter.
As I live up here,I get to hear from a lot of disgruntled Town fans,who think that their club is in a downward spiral.Some even say it would be better if you went down.It does seem to be a shame, as when your new owners took over,it looked like there would be some stability and investment in the right areas,but pretty much as at our club,mistakes have beem made.
Hopefully for your club,the right decisions will be made,and you can move forward to more successful times.
