Just been through the fixtures and can't see Wigan and Blackburn getting more than 16 pts each which will take them down.
But both Bolton and Wolves, at least on paper have some very winnable games and others where they can pick up points. Bolton have been on a bit of a revival and Woves will have been boosted after yesterday's game. I counted 20 and 18 points respectively. So 39 would just about keep us up.
Blackburn, Fulham, Everton, Bolton, Liverpool, Arsenal, Swansea, WBA and Stoke are the games that'll do it for us - with an averae of 2 pts per game needed.
Crucial not to lose to Blackburn and Bolton.... Bottom 3 will then be:
Wigan
Blackburn
Wolves

Wigan are nailed on, I can't see them getting more than 25 -30 points. Despite their win yesterday I think Wolves will go down second bottom. As for the last spot it is between, Bolton, West Brom, Blackburn and us. I think we will improve and also think Bolton will. Morale at Blackburn will be at an all time low and West Brom are sliding. So Wigan, Woves and Blacburn for me. |  |

I'm starting to think 38 points will be enough this season but if we do take the drop then it will be down to numerous things that we all know about, but keeping 11 players on the pitch in home match has been the real issue. 6 points is the difference between staying up and slipping down. WBA really? I know they ate going through an awful run at home but with GD they are basically 6 pts clear of us am wolves down! When we are talking about 18 pts needed that's a third of the total! I looked at their games and just can't see them only getting 12 pts (giving them 38) and even that might be enough.... | | | |

I wish I could say I was confident, but as you said yesterday Ealing81, we are making the displays of a team going down. Our luck with the refs is not going our way, we shoot ourselves in the foot by not keeping 11 men on the pitch for the whole match, and we aren't finishing off the chances we do get.
Its between Wigan, Blackburn, Wolves and ourselves. I think Bolton will have just enough to survive. West Brom won't get dragged in, not with Woy in charge.
