The Ian Beale thread on 21:32 - Jun 1 with 1981 views | Logman | It's you. One is a good coach who clearly does what he enjoys and has just landed a good job and the other is a fictional character who doesn't exist in the real world.

The Ian Beale thread on 10:05 - Jun 2 with 1310 views | bosh67 | I feel for you Connell. I've done this in late posts and people have missed the joke. I looked after my girlfriend's foster dad, who lived opposite the Eastenders studios and often saw Adam Woodyatt who played Ian around the area. Friends that worked on the show said Adam was the glue that kept the show going. His character in Eastenders was often infuriating and nasty but in real life Adam was the life and soul of the set. Always joking to crew and cast members and always making time for fans. He's a really good actor so I am sure he will crop up on other things. And he's a QPR fan!!! He's not actually, he's a Liverpool fan.

He’s been filming in Northern Ireland and stayed in the hotel my brother-in-law works in. By all accounts, a very nice and down to earth bloke.
| Did I ever mention that I was in Minder? |

The Ian Beale thread on 10:47 - Jun 2 with 1201 views | DannyPaddox | When Eastenders began in the mid-80s more than once I saw a few of the actors together at Rs games probably because they were filming nearby at the Beeb. I definitely saw Peter Dean in the crowd. I wasn’t really into Eastenders but a few years earlier he’d been in a series called Law & Order by far one of the best things on telly at the time which was why I noticed him particularly. Of course in Eastenders Peter Dean played Pete Beale. Cue Twilight Zone music. [Post edited 2 Jun 2022 11:03]

The Ian Beale thread on 11:06 - Jun 2 with 1131 views | TGRRRSSS | Already suggested Ian Beale left Walford for Da Bush. Fun fact though Tony Holland was a QPR fans and named Simon Wicks (played by Nick Berry) after Steve Wicks. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
