on current form and our records against forest, wigan and derby... the playoffs will be very tough for us but not impossible...
the one team I would worry about most are wigan but hopefully the FA Cup will distract them, as for forest billy davies teams always blow up in the play offs, as for derby I'm undecided... we will have to sit deep to prevent them breaking on us but our match with them was pretty even.. I suppose its just a matter of making sure we are in the playoffs now... | |

Its not that simple though, I think the key things in our favour will be IF Charlie is back and our experienced players.

Forest are are on a bad run and Derby have only beaten us out of top 6 teams and they have had two bad results, so I don't think we are any worse off than any other potential teams.
Key is to finish 3rd or 4th so you get 2nd leg of semi at home. | | | |

its all about form at that time. im confident we can do derby,reading over two legs.
less so forest/wigan.
i dont think anyone on here can seriously suggest catching Leicester ,I
watched the Burnly game yesterday, always knew they would get level and then go on to win, remind me of us in 2010/11
think they deserve to go up. Lucky with injuries perhaps, but the front two are the best in the league, dread to think of the miles they cover in a game.,and a constant danger.
trippier,mee,duff,heaton all really good players imho.
i would like to think of us playing in that style as a cohesive, all for one team,rather than 6 individuals,4 loan players and the wild card skills of morrison (for as long as we have him)to see us through.
So its the playoffs .
as good as the result was on saturday, it will take more than a swallows win at the divisions current poorest team on form to make the summer for me just yet..

I just have a feeling that Burnley will have a run of bad results at some point.
The two best teams we have played are Leicester and Burnley, so if they go up, I still fancy us in the play-offs if we can keep people fit and get some continuity in selection.
Let's face it, football is about excitement and you can't beat a play-off final for that. It would be the ideal scenario to go up in IMO. |  | | |

I agree I wouldn't put any money on it but it's not impossible, say for Instance Burnley lose the next two, We could be level with them by next week if we win our games.
As I say unlikely to happen but in this league with so many games left to play in a short period if we can build momentum then 2nd is not impossible. | | | |

All depends which QPR turn up doesn't it? But, we have 1/4 of the season left last time I looked and there' still time for us to either get into second if Burnley wilt (Big If), or to slip up enough to drop to 7th or lower. Looking at the way we've played all season really, you'd have to be a soothsayer to predict what'll happen. |  |
