Was there last year, still feel the pain, feels like one of 2 toughest away fixtures this season. Thanks Clive btw, I know previous history of matches don’t get that many comments but I appreciate them and despite my age (64) am amazed at how ma y players I have absolutely no recollection of.

I have watched many of the games against Southampton since the 1980s (and remembered the Goddard equaliser from the late 70s) and obviously a mixed bag of results amongst them. The recent run of losing games has been tough to stomach and our luck has to change sooner or later. The last 6 losses gives them the better head to head but other than that it is almost an even split. It may be just because of the 5-0 win over Swansea, but I think QPR the losing run can be ended on Saturday. Hopefully QPR not rock up in the lilac number, but instead wear the home kit as they did in those videos. The blue and white hoops don't clash with red and white stripes.

Exactly - the home kit with blue shorts and blue socks. Not difficult.

I think we could wear our normal home kit as they wear black shorts and socks this season don't they?

Problem solved! We wore the pink/black kit there last season and while they were clearly better than us, the lack of kit distinction between ours and theirs didn't help. Lilac tomorrow won't be good for us.
