Agreed, a lot of positives. Park being one and I thought Dyer and Ben Haim did well. DJ didn't get much opportunity to shine in front of goal but he worked hard. Weird atmosphere though. |  |

Positives out of today
We didn't lose although we tried to.
Dyer when he is fit, regardless of his well taken goal, is an asset. Played well.
Ben Haim hasn't played a game since September and looked really solid and wasn't afraid to bomb on down the line, even on his wrong foot.
DJ worked hard. Should have done better with the free header but had almost no service. Hope we can keep him. Another asset.
Not so positives
It felt like a training game which is a bit sh*t when you pay to go to a cup game.
Harry needs to play a creative midfielder in the centre alongside a tackle breaker, not two tackle breakers. That's Liverpool and WBA today and it means we produce f*ck all from the middle. After Granero went off and with Adel left, we produced nothing to link play at all.
Park? Works jolly hard but if a player farts near him he stumbles over.
Derry needs to get hold of Mbia and teach him that once he's won the ball to stay n his feet and play it simple.
Dreadful game but... well, it was pretty poor stuff. WBA will be less pleased than us because they lost two players to nasty and innocuous injuries. We survived the injury scares. |  |
