Her sister Penny was my form teacher at junior school, remember her getting her sister to do an awards presentation there. Vaguely recall it was her heyday and the North Kensington equivalent of getting the Queen to turn up.

Very sad.. RIP.

On a similar topic, one of my junior school teachers was the sister of Valerie Leon, the woman in the Hai Karate ads in the 70s. Her performance in Blood From the Mummy's Tomb is a highlight of my adolescence. Oddly, considering the roles she played (and the fact that her brother was a big landlord in the Harlesden area, her daughter writes for the Guardian.
