Jenkins 17/18 on 12:57 - Jan 23 by deanscfc | As someone else pointed out, I think it would be very misguided to think that the Americans will have better intentions than Huw Jenkins, someone who has been through everything with the club. Yes, Jenkins and co sold to the Americans but did the Americans make promises on investment that they didn't keep? For all the noise about improving the playing squad they did nothing and even made a profit in the transfer window. No way is it as simple as HJ is guilty and the Americans are innocent. I would keep HJ on but both he and the Americans now need to stop trying to do everything on the cheap and invest properly. |
"As someone else pointed out, I think it would be very misguided to think that the Americans will have better intentions than Huw Jenkins, someone who has been through everything with the club. " Yeah, such great intentions including: - sneaking behind the Trusts' back - ignoring the Chinese investment due to the lack of personal gain - sending the letter to annul the SHA

Jenkins 17/18 on 14:17 - Jan 23 with 1338 views | perchrockjack | If we stay up ,it will not because of Jenkins but in spite of him. He s failed to move us forward after six seasons and we ve still signed, let's face it, some dross. It's a simple case of failing to maximise your assets and potential. We ve had one outstanding win so it's feet on ground time. We ve lots to do yet to even become even remotely safe

Jenkins 17/18 on 14:20 - Jan 23 with 1333 views | Tummer_from_Texas | Please don't take this as a vote for Jenkins, just an honest question: What kind of replacement would be available, and do we trust Levien and Kaplan to get it right? This season has been rough enough as an American Jack. My ultimate nightmare, whether we stay up or not, is that they get rid of Jenkins and put Landon Donovan in charge next season.

Jenkins 17/18 on 14:23 - Jan 23 with 1312 views | perchrockjack | With respect tum, no more Americans at our club. It's an outpost of association football Rugby is also a game played there but one where they are nonentities. If USA took rugby seriously, they d be a force but grid iron is obviously King

Do you know what though Tummer, if he has a proper scouting network as opposed to the Middlesborough/Adomah w*nk that we've had in recent years, then that might not be so bad.

Jenkins 17/18 on 07:07 - Jan 25 with 1076 views | byron | I hope we go down almost. The clubs support in particular needs galvanising. It's become too subdued as we have all seen over the last year or so. Having lost our unique status by being owned and run by fans we really need something to happen. If we manage to stay up he's got away with it hasn't he? We are just another club now with foreign investors, makes me want to puke to be honest. Modern football eh?? Great.

Lets hope Jenkins, Pearlman, Levien and Kaplan can admit to the mistakes of this season and start again in the Summer (if we stay up). And they badly need a PR expert to help them!

I hope they'll have twigged by now that we've played catch up this season for the mistakes of the last five transfer windows. Instead of being in a position to strengthen with a marquee singing or two we've had to buy a few £5m sticking plasters. We're still crying out for a CB, RB and DM... As others have said, If we stay up it will be in spite of Jenkins not because of him.

Another review (that won't happen) ? No way should he still be chairman/DOF or whatever the fk he is/does. Not going to say why again or for how longboat quite simply he's not done a good enough job to be in a job. There again he might give himself a 3 year contract extension.

Yes, let's trust in a slimy, greedy, devious piece of shìt who put his own interests before those of the club and the fans first. For fúck sake man, I hope you're on a wind up.

Jenkins 17/18 on 10:31 - Jan 23 by waynekerr55 | Not a chance will they go for someone who'll jeopardise their investment. Ultimately they've got to justify their running of the business to whoever their pay masters are. If Clement turns out as a success and we have a root and branch review of the current football admin side (recruitment and DoF) positions then anyone with more than one brain cell will see that change is needed. |
if we do stay up under clement it would be jenkins who will have "i told you so" in his favour . If we stay up the only way he will go is if he resigns.

Ars*hole of the highest order well past his sell by date and totally undeserving of his £500k per annum salary......for what FFS ? DoF my arse couldn't run a bath let alone a football club what happened to Casey's Huw ? Mismanagement of the highest order. Rant over, feel better now getting that off my chest 😂😂 STID. Ironically I was sat in the players lounge at Loftus Road today talking with a former student. We spoke about the two ends of the spectrum, Tony Fernandes who had been fleeced whilst the sell outs well and truly fúcked the trust for their own gain.
