Chloe Ashcroft next to him there. Sigh.

“The stupidest thing she knew was for people to act like they knew all about the things they knew absolutely nothing about.”

That'll explain the text my mate sent me earlier which said (verbatim) "brain can't dead".

I genuinely didn't have a fecking clue what he was on about but that's not entirely unusual to be fair.

I remember him from Playaway. Floella was the girl for me with Humpty and Big Ted.

My claim to fame - shared a lift with him once (not a ride in a car, an elevator).

Brought back lots of childhood memories .

I didn't realise you were that old, pretty shocking considering the childish pishwash you rattle on about on here. You do realise that these programmes are for kids and you can stop watching them now ?

Good old Rolf.

Julie Stevens there as well. The forgotten Avengers girl.

For me Brian Cant is forever linked to the holy trinity of Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green. Celebrated in song- Half Man Half Biscuit's 'Trumpton Riots' has the immortal line:

"We've had Cant conformism since 1966, now subversion's in the air in the shape of flying bricks"

I liked him and he will be missed. Reminds me of being a small child in Neath in the early 70s. A pack of Galaxy Counters and a trip on the bus from Cimla. I was convinced until about 1980 that Neath was Trumpton-the clock tower of the church being Trumpton Town Hall-the doors of course smashed by Windy Miller's Corngrinders and Chippy Minten's socialists through windmill sails and bombs of nails.

RIP Brian
