BBC Cardiff have been softening us up this morning concerning the location of the Trauma Unit. A panel of experts have recommended Cardiff. This despite there being another unit 20 miles away in Bristol and twice the root of eff all in the rest of Wales.
It seems that the health of the Pricipality comes second to all things Cardiff City State. |  |

Deputy leader of Swansea Council (I think) on BBC Wales news just now quoting deja vu.
Stinks really. We need to act en masses but that is very difficult to arrange. Especially as the most populated are in Wales is the south east. |
I don't think population is that much of a problem. They cant outvote the whole of Wales. The problem is we have no media outlet to promote any such initiative other than what is laughingly called our 'National Media' . This of course is meshed into Cardiff centralism and Welsh Labour who are the perpetrators of all this.
As an aside I have signed the petition but I don't really agree with the wording. They are asking for Trauma Units in both Swansea and Cardiff. This would make 4 units along the M4 corridor from Bristol westwards. I can't see that option carrying much weight in Mid and North Wales who will still rely on Stoke and Liverpool respectively.
It should be in Swansea initially with and initiative to get a second or even third to serve Mid and North Wales. | |

I can see the response now....

The more I think about this the angrier I get. Who are these panel of experts? Why are our AMs saying nothing? Why is there only gentle hand wringing from Alan Lloyd in the Council? Why is it hardly being touched by the media?
A quick look at he map of Trauma Units in the U.K. tells its own story. If this ends up the way it is going Wales will be a massive empty shell in the West of the UK with coverage for the rest of the Britain. Particularly in Severnside with 3 within 20 miles.

I don't think four units so close together is feesable. I thought it was obvious I want the best for this area and the rest of Wales. We are not miles apart in our thinking. It is my right to remain anonymous however as is the right of all posters on a public forum.
I did not realise I could find your name under your username and to be honest I have no interest, even though I am interested in your views.
One last point, acting like grown men and women is not getting personal.
