Good manager and would be a fantastic coup but are we realistically going to be able to get a manager of his quality here? also would we pay the compo to his club? other than a small fee to Chester for Roberto i dont think we have ever got a manager from another club under the current board. |  |

The cups have got to be our best chance of honours. Regardless of the manager, Id like to see us put out a more or less full strength line-up in the cups; unless we are struggling in the league or struggling with injuries. Not being in Europe must give us a bit of scope to field strong line-ups in the cups. | |

I have watched Celta vigo a few times this year and they play some lovely football as do Villareal, their gaffers may fancy a crack.
Not sure whats in the championship in terms of good managers, but seems Karanka may be available, would he be a good option?.

I agree. Celta were unbelievable earlier in the season. Watched them beat Barca 4-1 - they fecking destroyed them - couldn't believe what I was watching! Tailed off a bit but they're a small club and have still done well. Villareal are my favourites to win the EL. I've a feeling they're gonna batter Liverpool tonight. Bakumbu is a striker I'd love to see at the Lib. | | | |
