Well that was a nice watch. You can't tell too much from the first friendly but there were some encouraging performances. Akinlieni was calm and a good passer. Esquerdinha has good feet. Dembele looked lively.
The goals were good but Stevenage made mistakes to let us in.

Can’t really say anything about us defensively because they’re so bad but I liked Morgan and Varane passing forwards out of midfield more, Kelman’s approach play/game has improved considerably since he last played for us. Richards scored but hadn’t done much prior. And is Stevenage’s 22 Trialist actually Osman Kakay?
