Bielsa or Ange Postecoglou. He’s about to win yet another title in his fourth different national league. Celtic were a basket case when he took over and now they play beautiful attacking football in a 3-4-3.

Poll: Where will we finish up next season?

It’s going to be Joey Barton

He said the other week at the charity night that his wife would kill him if he went back into management.

Rooney, Terry, Barton.

love Ainsworth, but I don’t think he’s a great manager that can push us forward

Would have said Sean Dyche a few months ago, but Burnley have done fantastic since he left.

Derry and Hill, but they don’t have the experience.

Think the will choose Sherwood.

In 10 years the suits have made seven permanent managerial appointments, of which six were rubbish. The club’s record prior to that was equally poor.

Therefore, to think QPR will make a second successive good appointment is based on unfounded hope as opposed to historical or recent precedent.

Unless there’s been shenanigans going on that we don’t know about, I fear we’re back to a self-inflicted period of showing the world how deft we are putting the ‘oops’ in Hoops!

Big Ange doing a fantastic job at Celtic, 6 points ahead of Rangers who they finished 25 behind last season. League basically won. This after a terrible start too as he had to rebuild the side.

I suspect he'll get a prem job after 2 or 3 years at Celtic, very good manager.

Just heard a podcast the other day with Frank Arnesen, DOF for about 25y at Ajax, PSV, Feyenord, Chelsea Tottenham etc.
He kept repeating how important (in his opinion) it is, that clubs appoint managers based on the clubs vision, strategy, system etc.
He had seen enough clubs being tempted by "Big Names", that had to make massive changes to squad, system etc. to accommodate Big Name, only to do it all over again 2-3 seasons later, when New Guy arrives with different ideas.
Hope we have a good vision and stick to it :)

We've already disgraced ourselves by having him (JB) at our club. If it was to be him my ST is getting cancelled as well.

That has made me wonder how Dignitas's refund policy works..."Oh for fcuk sake!..."

Manager-wise I'd like to know (but can't) if 'the search for a new manager will [really only] now begin'?

Maybe they're banking on the idea of starting the season with Eustace as caretaker if the right magician isn't found before then. With Eustace quite possibly interviewing for the job anyway.

I think that was a good while back, pretty sure it was Yaya Toure earlier this season.

If he would come and we could afford him it would have to be Sean Dyche.
He has done a very good job at Burnley to keep them up as long as he did with similar constraints that he would find here.

I suspect though that a lowermid table Prem side will sign him I doubt we could get anywhere near the wages he could command.
It's not easy to see who could do a similar job for us.

I hope the board have someone in mind, indeed I hope they have our man waiting in the wings, It would be madness to sack Walburton without having a replacement lined up.
